Runtime state and audit records live under `codexspec/runtime/`. `$plan` can run an explore track under `codexspec/runtime/explore/<explore-id>/`, a preflight track under `codexspec/runtime/preflight/<preflight-id>/`, or a formal commit track that creates `codexspec/runtime/runs/<run-id>/`. Explore and preflight sessions are archived under `codexspec/runtime/archives/`. Without it, `codex-spec` uses the current working directory.\n`init` preserves existing generated files by default and asks before overwriting them in interactive shells.
