@6529-collections/release-request\n\nThis package creates, validates, and submits one 6529 release request.\n\nIts central workflow saves each accepted request as one public GitHub Issue.\nIt does not queue, merge, build, test, or deploy anything.\n\n## Commands\n\nPrint the current agent-input template:\n\n```sh\n6529-release-request template\n```\n\nThe agent fills this template and removes any frontend or backend part that is\nnot included in the release. The CLI adds `schema_version`, `request_id`, and\n`created_at`; the agent must not provide them.\n\nCreate a request from standard input:\n\n```sh\n6529-release-request create --input -\n```\n\nCreate a request from a file:\n\n```sh\n6529-release-request create --input release-input.json\n```\n\nThe command writes local files inside the project directory where it runs:\n\n```text\n.release-coordinator/runs/<run-id>.json\n.release-coordinator/outbox/<request-id>.json\n```\n\nEvery `create` attempt saves a run record. Only a valid release request is\nsaved to the outbox.\n\n## Submit a request\n\n`create` remains available for local-only use. The frontend release skill now\nuses `submit`, which accepts the same agent-input JSON:\n\n```sh\n6529-release-request submit --input release-input.json\n```\n\nThe CLI creates and validates the full request, saves the local run, starts one\ncentral workflow in the Release Coordinator repository, waits for it, and returns\nsuccess or failure with a reason. The agent will not run `gh`, choose a workflow,\nor poll GitHub itself. Frontend and backend do not need their own submission\nworkflow files.\n\nThe workflow validates the request again and saves one public GitHub Issue. The\nIssue title is `Release request <request-id>`. Its body contains the exact\nvalidated request, checksum, real GitHub actor, stable actor ID, workflow run,\nsubmission time, and accepted result. It starts with `release-request`,\n`pending`, and target labels. In this version,\n`submitted` means GitHub validated and saved the request. It does not mean that\nanything was approved or deployed.\n\nBy default, GitHub allows accounts with Write access to the Release Coordinator\nrepository to start this manual workflow. The request JSON already names every\nrepository, branch, pull request, and exact commit to release.\n\nThe release JSON says what should be released. Its `requested_by` field is not\nauthentication. The GitHub submission proof says who sent it. Future delivery\nmust keep those two records separate.\n\nThe CLI returns the request ID and Issue link. Sending the same request again\nreuses the same Issue. Reusing the same request ID with different JSON fails.\nInvalid requests create no Issue.\n\nA future command can read the issue status without exposing GitHub workflow\ndetails to the agent:\n\n```sh\n6529-release-request status REQUEST_ID\n```\n\nPublic npm prerelease `0.0.4-bootstrap.0` contains the same current CLI behavior.\nThe frontend still uses GitHub Packages version `0.0.3`, so it returns and saves\nthe Issue link. The backend has not been integrated yet. The `status` command\ndoes not exist yet.\n\n## Publishing\n\nVersion `0.0.3` remains available from GitHub Packages for the current frontend\nintegration. Public npm contains prerelease `0.0.4-bootstrap.0` under the\n`bootstrap` tag.\n\nThe package manifest points to the public npm registry and allows public access.\nThe published archive contains only the CLI, source files, schema, example,\nREADME, license, and npm package metadata. It has no install-time scripts.\n\nInstall the public prerelease only by its exact version:\n\n```sh\nnpm install --save-dev @6529-collections/release-request@0.0.4-bootstrap.0\n```\n\nDo not use an unversioned install during bootstrap. The frontend will move to\npublic npm only after a stable version is published and proven.\n\nThe central GitHub workflow checks every pull request. It can also publish an\nexact version from protected `main`. npm accepts that publish only from the\nnamed workflow and `npm-publish` environment.
