\n\n## Options\n\nThe following options can be passed to `new Server({ ... })`:\n\nkey | description | default value\n---------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | -------------\n`port` | The HTTP port that the 9DB server should bind to. | `9999`\n`adapter` | The database adapter to use for storing nodes. \n\n## Adapters\n\nThe server uses adapters in order to store nodes for later use. Pass an explicit\nadapter to your server via:\n\n```ts\nconst adapter = new MemoryAdapter();\nconst server = new Server({ adapter });\n```\n\nThere are several different adapters available out of the box:\n\n**`MemoryAdapter`**\n\nThis adapter merely retains nodes in local process memory. If the server crashes\nor is restarted, all persisted nodes will be lost. Useful for local development\nbut should be replaced with a different adapter type before you deploy.\n\nIf no explicit adapter is specified, this adapter type will be used by default.\n\n```ts\nimport {MemoryAdapter} from '@9db/server';\n\nconst adapter = new MemoryAdapter();\n```\n\n**`FilesystemAdapter`**\n\nThis adapter persists nodes to the local filesystem. Depending on your needs,\nthis simple persistence mechanism could be sufficient. However, it is not well\nsuited to serving high-traffic sites, and cannot function in a load-balanced\ncluster.\n\n```ts\nimport {FilesystemAdapter} from '@9db/server';\n\nconst adapter = new FilesystemAdapter({\n path: '/home/pachet/9db/cache'\n});\n```\n\n**`RedisAdapter`**\n\nThis adapter persists nodes to a Redis instance.
