Based on Backbone.Events\n\n[![Build Status](https://secure.travis-ci.org/bermi/@a-2-c-2-anpm/in-iure-repellendus.png?branch=master)](http://travis-ci.org/bermi/@a-2-c-2-anpm/in-iure-repellendus)\n\n[![browser support](http://ci.testling.com/bermi/@a-2-c-2-anpm/in-iure-repellendus.png)](http://ci.testling.com/bermi/@a-2-c-2-anpm/in-iure-repellendus)\n\n*(non-ES5 environments require an ES5 shim)*\n\n## Installing\n\n### On the browser\n\nA 3.19 kB (1.4K gzipped) browser ready version is available on the dist/ folder.\n\n    <script src=\"dist/@a-2-c-2-anpm/in-iure-repellendus.min.js\" type=\"text/javascript\"></script>\n\n\n### Node.js\n\n    $ npm install @a-2-c-2-anpm/in-iure-repellendus\n\n\n### Ender support\n\n    ender add @a-2-c-2-anpm/in-iure-repellendus\n\nWill provide access to the $.@a-2-c-2-anpm/in-iure-repellendus function\n\n\n## Documentation\n\nEventify is a module that can be mixed in to any object, giving the object the ability to bind and trigger custom named events. Events do not have to be declared before they are bound, and may take passed arguments. For example:\n\n    var object = {};\n\n    Eventify.enable(object);\n\n    object.on(\"alert\", function(msg) {\n      alert(\"Triggered \" + msg);\n    });\n\n    object.trigger(\"alert\", \"an event\");\n\nThe prototype is also exposed so you can extend it:\n\n    function MyEmitter() {\n      // ...\n    }\n\n    MyEmitter.prototype = Object.create(Eventify.proto);\n\n    MyEmitter.prototype.foo = function () {\n      //...\n    };\n\nIf you want to create a plain emitter in a lightweight manner, use `Eventify.create()`:\n\n    var emitter = Eventify.create();\n\n    emitter.on(\"foo\", function (message) {\n      //...\n    })\n\n\n### *enable* Eventify.enable(destination)\n\nCopies the methods on, off and trigger to the destination object, and returns the destination object.\n\nFor example, to make a handy event dispatcher that can coordinate events among different areas of your application:\n\n    var dispatcher = Eventify.enable()\n\n\n### *on* object.on(event, callback, [context])\n\nBind a callback function to an object. The callback will be invoked whenever the event is fired. If you have a large number of different events, the convention is to use colons to namespace them: \"poll:start\", or \"change:selection\". The event string may also be a space-delimited list of several events...\n\n    book.on(\"change:title change:author\", ...);\n\nTo supply a context value for this when the callback is invoked, pass the optional third argument: model.on('change', this.render, this)\n\nCallbacks bound to the special \"all\" event will be triggered when any event occurs, and are passed the name of the event as the first argument. For example, to proxy all events from one object to another:\n\n    proxy.on(\"all\", function(eventName) {\n      object.trigger(eventName);\n    });\n\n\nAll event methods also support an event map syntax, as an alternative to positional arguments:\n\n    book.on({\n      \"change:title\": titleView.update,\n      \"change:author\": authorPane.update,\n      \"destroy\": bookView.remove\n    });\n\n\n### *off* object.off([event], [callback], [context])\n\nRemove a previously-bound callback function from an object. If no context is specified, all of the versions of the callback with different contexts will be removed. If no callback is specified, all callbacks for the event will be removed. If no event is specified, all event callbacks on the object will be removed.\n\n    // Removes just the `onChange` callback.\n    object.off(\"change\", onChange);\n\n    // Removes all \"change\" callbacks.\n    object.off(\"change\");\n\n    // Removes the `onChange` callback for all events.\n    object.off(null, onChange);\n\n    // Removes all callbacks for `context` for all events.\n    object.off(null, null, context);\n\n    // Removes all callbacks on `object`.\n    object.off();\n\n\n### *trigger* object.trigger(event, [*args])\n\nTrigger callbacks for the given event, or space-delimited list of events. Subsequent arguments to trigger will be passed along to the event callbacks.\n\n### **once** object.once(event, callback, [context])\n\nJust like on, but causes the bound callback to only fire once before being removed. Handy for saying \"the next time that X happens, do this\".\n\n\n### **listenTo** object.listenTo(other, event, callback)\n\nTell an object to listen to a particular event on an other object. The advantage of using this form, instead of other.on(event, callback, object), is that listenTo allows the object to keep track of the events, and they can be removed all at once later on. The callback will always be called with object as context.\n\n    view.listenTo(model, 'change', view.render);\n\n### **stopListening** object.stopListening([other], [event], [callback])\n\nTell an object to stop listening to events. Either call stopListening with no arguments to have the object remove all of its registered callbacks ... or be more precise by telling it to remove just the events it's listening to on a specific object, or a specific event, or just a specific callback.\n\n    view.stopListening();\n\n    view.stopListening(model);\n\n### **listenToOnce** object.listenToOnce(other, event, callback)\n\nJust like listenTo, but causes the bound callback to only fire once before being removed.\n\n\n### *noConflict* var LocalEventify = Eventify.noConflict();\n\nReturns the Eventify object back to its original value. You can use the return value of Eventify.noConflict() to keep a local reference to Eventify. Useful for embedding Eventify on third-party websites, where you don't want to clobber the existing Eventify object.\n\n    var localEventify = Eventify.noConflict();\n    var model = localEventify.enable();\n\n\nAnother option is to bind the Eventify library to the window object using a different name. You can do so by declaring the localEventifyLibraryName before loading the Eventify library code. For example:\n\n    <script>var localEventifyLibraryName = 'EventManager';</script>\n    <script src=\"/dist/@a-2-c-2-anpm/in-iure-repellendus.min.js\" type=\"text/javascript\"></script>\n    <script>\n        var dispatcher = EventManager.enable();\n    </script>\n\n\n## Testing\n\nIn order to run the tests you will need to have nodejs installed.\n\nInstall dev dependencies with:\n\n    $ npm install\n\nAnd then run the tests with:\n\n    $ make test\n\n### On the browser\n\n    $ make test-browser\n\n### Code coverage\n\nYou will need to install https://github.com/visionmedia/node-jscoverage\nand then run\n\n    $ make test-coverage\n\n## Development watcher and test runner\n\n### Continuous linting\n\n    $ make dev\n\n### Continuous testing\n\n    $ make test-watch\n\n### Continuous linting + testing\n\n    $ make dev-test\n\n\n## License\n\n(The MIT License)\n\nCopyright (c) 2012 Bermi Ferrer &lt;bermi@bermilabs.com&gt;\n\nPermission is hereby granted, free of charge, to any person obtaining\na copy of this software and associated documentation files (the\n'Software'), to deal in the Software without restriction, including\nwithout limitation the rights to use, copy, modify, merge, publish,\ndistribute, sublicense, and/or sell copies of the Software, and to\npermit persons to whom the Software is furnished to do so, subject to\nthe following conditions:\n\nThe above copyright notice and this permission notice shall be\nincluded in all copies or substantial portions of the Software.\n\nTHE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED 'AS IS', WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND,\nEXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF\nMERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NONINFRINGEMENT.\nIN NO EVENT SHALL THE AUTHORS OR COPYRIGHT HOLDERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY\nCLAIM, DAMAGES OR OTHER LIABILITY, WHETHER IN AN ACTION OF CONTRACT,\nTORT OR OTHERWISE, ARISING FROM, OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE\nSOFTWARE OR THE USE OR OTHER DEALINGS IN THE SOFTWARE.\n","readmeFilename":"README.md"}
