It is _not_ intended for use in production-grade software.**\r\n\r\nThis project was created and published by me as part of my learnings at Lighthouse Labs. \r\n\r\n## Usage\r\n\r\n**Install it:**\r\n\r\n`npm install @aasemaaneh/lotide`\r\n\r\n**Require it:**\r\n\r\n`const _ = require('@aasemaaneh/lotide');`\r\n\r\n**Call it:**\r\n\r\n`const results = _.tail([1, 2, 3]) // => [2, 3]`\r\n\r\n## Documentation\r\n\r\nThe following functions are currently implemented:\r\n\r\n\r\n* `assertEqual(value1, value2)`: Write a function that takes in 2 values and returns true if they are equal and false otherwise.\r\n\r\n* `assertEqualTemplate(value1, value2)`: Write an updated Assert Equal Function that uses template literals.\r\n\r\n* `head(array)`: Write a function that takes in an array and returns the first element in the array.\r\n\r\n* `tail(array)`: Write a function that takes in an array and returns everything except the first element of the array.\r\n\r\n* `eqArrays(array1, array2)`: Write a function that takes in 2 arrays and returns true if the arrays are equal and false otherwise.\r\n\r\n* `assertArraysEqual(array1, array2)`: Write a function that prints an appropriate message after comparing the two arrays.\r\n\r\n* `without(sourceArray, itemsToRemoveArray)`: Write a function that takes in a source array and an itemsToRemove array and returns only the items from the source array that are not in the itemsToRemove array.\r\n\r\n* `flatten(array)`: Write a function that takes in an array that contains elements including nested array of elements and returns a flattened version of the array.\r\n\r\n* `middle(array)`: Write a function that takes in an array and returns the middle most element of the array.\r\n\r\n* `countOnly(collection, itemsToCount)`: Write a function that takes in a collection of items and returns a specific subset of those items.\r\n\r\n* `countLetters(sentence)`: Write a function that takes in a sentence and returns a count of each of the letters in the sentence.\r\n\r\n* `letterPositions(string)`: Write a function that takes in a string and returns all indices of letter positions in the string.\r\n\r\n* `findKeyByValue(object, value)`: Write a function that takes in an object and a value and returns the first key that corresponds to that value.\r\n\r\n* `eqObjects(object1, object2)`: Write a function that takes in 2 objects and returns true if they are equal and false otherwise.\r\n\r\n* `assertObjectsEqual(object1, object2)`: Write a function that takes in 2 objects and returns true if they are equal and false otherwise.\r\n\r\n* `map(array, callback)`: Write a function that takes in an array and a callback and returns a new array based on the results of the callback on each item in the array.\r\n\r\n* `takeUntil(array, callback)`: Write a function that takes in an array and callback and returns a slice of the array based on the criteria specified in the callback.\r\n\r\n* `findKey(object, callback)`: Write a function that takes in an object and callback and returns the first key that meets the criteria specified in the callback.\r\n","readmeFilename":"README.md"}
