Once set, AI title refreshes stop overwriting it.\n\n```text\n/session-bar-clear-title\n```\n\nClear a manually set session title and resume AI title updates.\n\n```text\n/session-bar-refresh\n```\n\nForce-refresh git state and the AI session summary. Manual titles are preserved.\n\n```text\n/session-bar-toggle\n```\n\nToggle the status bar for the current session.\n\n## Shortcut\n\nPress `ctrl+shift+r` to enter a manual session title. To change the shortcut, set `PI_STATUS_BAR_TITLE_SHORTCUT` or edit `options.manualTitleShortcut` in `extensions/status-bar.ts`.\n\n## How it works\n\nThe extension uses Pi's extension APIs:\n\n- `ctx.ui.setFooter(...)` for the sticky TUI footer.\n- `pi.exec(...)` for read-only git status checks.\n- `completeSimple(...)` with the currently selected Pi model for short summaries, falling back to a local title if auth/model calls fail.\n- `pi.setSessionName(...)` so `/resume` shows the generated session title.\n- `pi.appendEntry(...)` to persist summary metadata without adding it to LLM context.\n\n## Package metadata\n\nThis repo is packaged for Pi with:\n\n```json\n{\n  \"keywords\": [\"pi-package\", \"pi-extension\"],\n  \"pi\": {\n    \"extensions\": [\"./extensions/status-bar.ts\"]\n  }\n}\n```\n\n## License\n\nMIT\n","readmeFilename":"README.md","_rev":"1-3050df925c8b332d6644c937a29547ad"}
