that cannot use the native Streamable HTTP connector at `https://mcp.adsyncs.net/mcp`.\n\nUse a native custom connector when company policy permits it. Persistent mode supports macOS Keychain and Windows DPAPI. The installer automatically configures `--auth-mode ephemeral` on Linux until a protected Linux credential backend is available.\n\n## Authentication behavior\n\n- Valid access token: connect without opening a browser.\n- Access token approaching expiry: rotate silently under a cross-process lock and reconnect the remote transport without interrupting the local stdio server.\n- Missing or definitively invalid credentials: start at most one browser authorization flow.\n- DNS, timeout, HTTP 429, and server failures: retain credentials and do not open a browser.\n- Denied consent: suppress automatic retries for 15 minutes; `adsyncs_bridge_connect` remains an explicit recovery action.\n\nPersistent credentials remain OS-protected. On macOS, Keychain stores a per-profile encryption key and the bridge stores only AES-256-GCM ciphertext in an owner-only credential file; on Windows, DPAPI protects the credential file.
