Use `nt mcp list`, `inspect`, and `doctor` for discovery;\n`auth`/`logout` manage OAuth. MCP invocation approval defaults to required and\nis separate from server trust.\n\n`nt mcp doctor [SERVER]` reports schema, trust, endpoint, connection,\nauthentication, capabilities, catalog, selection, schema compatibility, and\nshutdown independently. Failed prerequisites leave dependent checks marked\nskipped, and JSON failures include stable `MCP_*` codes.\n\nWhile `up`, `run`, and `chat` wait on the model, an animated thinking line\n(`✻ Pondering… (3s)`) shows in the terminal. It clears the moment the reply\narrives, and it is skipped entirely when output is piped or redirected. Add\n`--show-tool-calls` and the line names each step as it happens — for example\n`✻ Running tool fs_read… (4s)` or `✻ Delegating to researcher… (6s)`. Even an\ninstant tool call stays on screen for a moment so it is readable, and while a\nsubagent works the line keeps naming it. To turn it on for every run, set\n`show_tool_calls: true` in your `config` block instead of passing the flag.\n\nA tool declared with `confirm: true` stops the run and asks with an\ninteractive selector — arrow keys move between **Yes** and **No**, Enter\nconfirms, `y`/`n` answer directly, Esc denies. Agents delegate work to subagents.\n- **`tool`** — a custom power: a `shell` command or an `http` call, with\n  `{placeholders}` filled from model input.
