The default install configures the config-free local\n`agentpay-wallet` MCP that exposes the 31 Arc tools. An explicit `--mcp-url`\noption adds a remote hosted `agentpay` MCP when supplied. Normal users do not\nmanage Supabase, RPC, executor, deployer, or bytecode configuration.\n\n## Install\n\nInstall the public CLI directly from npm:\n\n```bash\nnpx @agentpay-ai/agentpay-arc install --runtime <runtime>\n```\n\nUse `codex`, `claude`, `cursor`, `hermes`, or `generic` for `<runtime>`. To\nconfigure the live hosted MCP alongside the local wallet MCP:\n\n```bash\nnpx @agentpay-ai/agentpay-arc install --runtime <runtime> \\\n  --mcp-url https://mcp.arc.agentpay.site/mcp\n```\n\nThen return to your agent chat:\n\n```text\nSet up an Arc agent wallet for me.\nPay 5 USDC to 0x... on Arc Testnet for invoice INV-001.\n```\n\nNo user secrets are required for default local-first mode.\n\nAgentPay runs on **Arc Testnet only** — Arc has no mainnet — so there is no\nnetwork to choose. Circle login, Terms acceptance, and email OTP stay manual\nhuman steps, and the authenticated Circle CLI session never leaves the user's\nmachine.\n\nThe funded Agent Wallet balance is the agent's budget. AgentPay does not ask for\na separate approval on every payment, and it does not add daily allowances,\nper-payment maximums, or recipient allowlists. Cross-chain funding is selected at\npayment time after the Arc wallet exists.\n\nAgentPay covers agent wallet setup and funding, direct USDC sends, invoice\npayments and payment requests, x402 service purchases, batch payouts, unified\nbalance and bridge/swap routes, agent-to-agent payments, and ERC-8004 identity\nand reputation/validation, ERC-8183 escrow jobs, a read-only marketplace, and\ndurable compliance evidence. The local `agentpay-wallet` process registers all\n31 Arc MCP tools for the 19 approved hackathon features.\n\nFor x402 discovery without a URL, the agent uses `search_paid_services` and\n`inspect_paid_service`, then `pay_paid_service` executes the buyer path through\n`circle services pay` exactly once. Receipts carry an Arcscan proof link.\n\n## Commands\n\n```bash\nagentpay install [--mcp-url <url>]\nagentpay install --self-hosted\nagentpay agent-wallet-mcp\nagentpay mcp\nagentpay serve-http\nagentpay setup-web\nagentpay doctor\n```\n\n`install` detects the target runtime. `--self-hosted` additionally writes a local\nconfig. `doctor` and `setup-web` are operator diagnostics and fallbacks, not the\nnormal hosted-user flow.\n\nRun operator diagnostics with `npx @agentpay-ai/agentpay-arc doctor` or\n`npx @agentpay-ai/agentpay-arc setup-web`.\n\nThe public x402 seller gate is enabled with `AGENTPAY_A2MCP_PAYMENT_ENABLED=true`\nplus pay-to, price, network, and asset values. `/healthz` remains free.\n\nHosted mode needs no configuration at all, and the Circle Agent Wallet tools run\non a config-free local MCP surface either way. That surface stores process-owned\noperation state at `~/.agentpay/arc-state.json` with owner-only permissions and\ndoes not accept caller-supplied tenant authority.\n\n`install --self-hosted` and `doctor` require the inherited Celo config surface,\nnot an Arc one. `requiredConfigKeys` in `src/index.ts` is:\n\n- `SUPABASE_URL`\n- `SUPABASE_SERVICE_ROLE_KEY`\n- `CELO_RPC_URL`\n- `EXECUTOR_PRIVATE_KEY`\n\nPlus Review & Sign secrets when the setup web flow is enabled. Optional values\ninclude `SETUP_WEB_URL`, `LIFI_API_KEY`, and `X402_BAZAAR_FACILITATOR_URL`.\n\n`ARC_TESTNET_RPC_URL` is **not** read by this CLI. It is required by the MCP\nserver's Arc readiness gate, so `.env.example` carries it, but `doctor` will not\nask for it and will not report it missing.\n\nThe Arc migration is incomplete at the configuration layer: the parser that\nstarts the MCP server, this CLI's generator, and `doctor` all still require the\ninherited Celo environment, while a separate Arc readiness gate expects Arc\nvalues. Use the values committed in `.env.example`; they are covered by a\nregression test that runs them through the real startup parser.\n\nThis package is an isolated Arc fork of AgentPay. The separate Celo and OKX\nX Layer deployments are unaffected by it.\n","readmeFilename":"README.md","_rev":"1-4fc718e5c44589f4883ebe9ec3ee97c3"}
