Existing\nAquaCrop 7.x projects can be inspected and packaged without being rewritten.\n\nConversion and validation are structural. AquaCrop is not bundled or executed.\n\n## Requirements\n\nNode.js 22.12 or newer is required.\n\n## Usage\n\nRun the package with `npx`:\n\n```bash\nnpx @agrodt/aquacrop-converter inspect project.zip\n\nnpx @agrodt/aquacrop-converter convert project.zip \\\n  --output project-v73.zip \\\n  --strict \\\n  --cultivation-year-mode annual\n```\n\nThe main options are:\n\n- `--project <path>` selects a project when the input contains multiple `.PRM` or `.PRO` files.\n- `--strict` enables strict structural validation.\n- `--cultivation-year-mode annual|preserve` controls converted cultivation-year values.\n- `--report=none|text|json` controls stdout output; the default is `text`.\n- `--report-file <path>` writes the full conversion report to a separate JSON file.\n\nThe CLI returns a nonzero exit code when inspection or conversion fails.\n\nSee the [project repository](https://github.com/AgroDT/aquacrop-converter) for supported project\nversions, conversion details, limitations, and development instructions.\n","readmeFilename":""}
