than that: investigate before building, design the interface before writing, test-first, review at PR boundaries, and verify before merge.\n\nThese skills bake those habits into Claude's defaults. Every file is created **lazily** — on first use, never up front — and carries [OKF](https://github.com/GoogleCloudPlatform/knowledge-catalog/tree/main/okf) frontmatter, so the whole tree is a consumable knowledge bundle. The canonical registry of doc kinds is [`skills/formats/OKF.md`](./skills/formats/OKF.md) §2; the artifacts table in [`skills/WORKFLOWS.md`](./skills/WORKFLOWS.md) maps each kind to the workflow step that emits it.
