Configuration files for commonly used tools

\n\nThis repository contains configuration files for several tools commonly used in\nprojects to enforce certain rules improving code quality and style.\n\n## Prettier\n\nIn order to use shared Prettier configuration, add following entry to your `package.json`.\n\n```json\n{\n \"prettier\": \"@airnauts/style-guide/prettier\"\n}\n```\n\n_Reminder: you still need to install Prettier in your project._\n\n## ESLint\n\nThe following configurations are available:\n\n- `@airnauts/style-guide/eslint/javascript`\n- `@airnauts/style-guide/eslint/react`\n- `@airnauts/style-guide/eslint/typescript` (requires additional configuration)\n- `@airnauts/style-guide/eslint/react-typescript` (requires additional configuration)\n\nYou need to use `require.resolve` to replace symbolic names with absolute paths.\n\nIn order to set up linting for your React application, open your `.eslintrc` file and add the following code.\n\n```js\nmodule.exports = {\n extends: [\n require.resolve('@airnauts/style-guide/eslint/javascript'),\n require.resolve('@airnauts/style-guide/eslint/react'),\n ],\n};\n```\n\n_Reminder: you still need to install ESLint in your project._\n\n### Using TypeScript configuration variants\n\nIn order to properly apply certain rules ESLint needs to have access to `tsconfig.json` file.\nSee following code snippet for an example how to provide such information.\n\n```js\nconst { resolve } = require('path');\n\nconst project = resolve(__dirname, 'tsconfig.json');\n\nmodule.exports = {\n root: true,\n extends: [\n require.resolve('@airnauts/style-guide/eslint/typescript'),\n require.resolve('@airnauts/style-guide/eslint/react-typescript'),\n ],\n parserOptions: {\n project,\n },\n};\n```\n\nIf you want to know more about this requirement, see: https://typescript-eslint.io/docs/linting/type-linting\n\n### Applying certain configuration variant only for selected directory\n\nIt's possible to apply a configuration to the selected directory only. It may be useful in the future\nwhen we will be exposing additional variants.
