Update package.json\n\nReplace the placeholder values:\n\n- `name`: Your package name (e.g., `@bmad-method/your-module`)\n- `description`: What your module does\n- `author`: Your name\n- `repository.url`: Your git repository URL\n- `keywords`: Add relevant search terms\n\n### 2. Update this README.md\n\nRemove these template instructions and add:\n- What your module does\n- How to use it\n- Any specific configuration needed\n\n### 3. Add your module content\n\nAll module content goes under `src/`:\n\n```\nsrc/\n├── module.yaml       # Module metadata and install questions\n├── agents/           # BMad agents\n├── workflows/        # Agent workflows\n└── tools/            # Small reusable tools\n```\n\n## Module Conventions\n\n- **module.yaml**: Defines install questions and defaults\n- **agents/**: All BMad agents go here\n- **workflows/**: Agent workflows or direct-call workflows\n- **tools/**: Small, single-purpose prompt files\n- Use relative paths in all workflows/agents for portability\n\n## Publishing to NPM\n\n### First-time setup\n\n1. Create an npm automation token at <https://www.npmjs.com/settings>/tokens\n2. Add it as a GitHub secret named `NPM_TOKEN` in your repo settings:\n   ```bash\n   gh secret set NPM_TOKEN --repo YOUR-ORG/YOUR-REPO\n   ```\n\n### Release a new version\n\nThe module includes release scripts that handle versioning and publishing:\n\n```bash\n# Patch release (0.1.0 -> 0.1.1)\nnpm run release\n\n# Minor release (0.1.0 -> 0.2.0)\nnpm run release:minor\n\n# Major release (0.1.0 -> 1.0.0)\nnpm run release:major\n\n# Prerelease (0.1.0 -> 0.1.1-0)\nnpm run release:prerelease\n```\n\nThese scripts:\n1. Update the version in package.json\n2. Create a git tag\n3. Push the tag to GitHub\n4. Trigger the publish workflow which publishes to npm\n\n### Manual tag release\n\nYou can also create tags manually:\n\n```bash\ngit tag v0.1.0\ngit push origin v0.1.0\n```\n\n## Workflows\n\nThe module includes GitHub Actions workflows:\n\n- **publish.yaml**: Automatically publishes to npm when a version tag is pushed\n- **quality.yaml**: Runs linting and formatting checks\n- **docs.yaml**: Builds documentation\n- **discord.yaml**: Posts updates to Discord (configure if needed)\n\n## Development\n\n```bash\n# Run linting\nnpm run lint\n\n# Fix formatting\nnpm run format:fix\n\n# Run tests\nnpm test\n```\n\n## Module Installation (for users)\n\nOnce published, users can install your module via the BMad Method installer or npm:\n\n```bash\n# Via BMad installer\nnpx bmad-method install\n\n# Via npm\nnpm install your-module-name\n```\n\n## License\n\nMIT License — see [LICENSE](LICENSE) for details.\n\n---\n\n**Your Module Name** — Part of the [BMad Method](https://github.com/bmad-code-org/BMAD-METHOD) ecosystem.\n\n[![Contributors](https://contrib.rocks/image?repo=bmad-code-org/YOUR-REPO-NAME)](https://github.com/bmad-code-org/YOUR-REPO-NAME/graphs/contributors)\n\nSee [CONTRIBUTORS.md](CONTRIBUTORS.md) for contributor information.\n","readmeFilename":"README.md","_rev":"1-157de7a7d7bacc841a41b90f5c1d6b8f"}
