This node allows you to retrieve, create, and manage secrets from Akeyless directly in your n8n workflows.\n\n## Purpose\n\nThis node provides seamless integration between n8n and Akeyless, enabling you to:\n- **Retrieve secrets** (static, rotated, or dynamic) from Akeyless\n- **Create secrets** in Akeyless\n- **Delete items** and **manage folders** in Akeyless\n- Use secrets dynamically in your workflows without hardcoding sensitive values\n\n## Installation\n\n### For n8n SaaS (Cloud)\n\n1. Open your n8n instance\n2. Go to **Settings** → **Community Nodes**\n3. Search for `n8n-nodes-akeyless`\n4. Click **Install**\n5. Restart your workflow editor\n\n### For Self-Hosted n8n (Local Development)\n\n```bash\n# 1. Clone or download this repository\ncd /path/to/n8n-nodes-akeyless\n\n# 2. Restart n8n\n```\n\n## Configuration\n\n### Credentials Setup\n\n1. **Create New Credential** → Select **Akeyless Security**\n2. Choose authentication method:\n\n   **Option A: Access ID + Access Key**\n   - API Base URL: `https://api.akeyless.io` (or your instance)\n   - Access ID: Your Akeyless Access ID (starts with `p-`)\n   - Access Key: Your Base64 encoded API key\n\n   **Option B: Token (t-token)**\n   - API Base URL: `https://api.akeyless.io`\n   - Token: Your Akeyless token (starts with `t-`)\n\n## Available Operations\n\n### 1. Get Static Secret Value\nRetrieves a static secret from Akeyless.\n\n**Parameters:**\n- Secret Name (required)\n- Accessibility (regular/personal)\n- Ignore Cache (boolean)\n\n**Output:** Returns raw API response: `{ \"/secret/name\": \"secret_value\" }`\n\n### 2. Get Rotated Secret Value\nRetrieves a rotated secret from Akeyless.\n\n**Parameters:**\n- Secret Name (required)\n- Ignore Cache (boolean)\n\n**Output:** Returns raw API response\n\n### 3. Get Dynamic Secret Value\nRetrieves a dynamic secret from Akeyless.\n\n**Parameters:**\n- Secret Name (required)\n- Timeout (seconds, default: 15)\n\n**Output:** Returns raw API response\n\n### 4. Create Secret\nCreates a new secret in Akeyless.\n\n**Parameters:**\n- Secret Name (required)\n- Secret Value (for generic type) OR Username + Password (for password type)\n- Type: Generic or Password\n- Format: Text or JSON\n- Accessibility (regular/personal)\n- Secure Access options\n\n**Output:** Returns raw API response\n\n### 5. Delete Items\nDeletes items from Akeyless.\n\n**Parameters:**\n- Path (required) - The path/name of the item(s) to delete\n\n**Output:** Returns raw API response\n\n### 6. Create Folder\nCreates a folder in Akeyless.\n\n**Parameters:**\n- Folder Name (required)\n- Accessibility (regular/personal)\n\n**Output:** Returns raw API response\n\n### 7. Delete Folder\nDeletes a folder from Akeyless.\n\n**Parameters:**\n- Folder Name (required)\n- Accessibility (regular/personal)\n\n**Output:** Returns raw API response\n\n## Usage Examples\n\n### Example 1: Get Secret and Use in HTTP Request\n\n1. Add **Akeyless** node\n   - Operation: **Get Static Secret Value**\n   - Secret Name: `/myapp/api-key` (your secret path)\n\n2. Add **HTTP Request** node\n   - URL: `https://api.example.com/endpoint`\n   - Header: `X-API-Key: {{$node[\"Akeyless\"].json[\"/myapp/api-key\"]}}`\n\n**Note:** Use the exact secret name (with leading `/`) as the key to access the value.\n\n### Example 2: Using Set Node for Cleaner Workflow\n\n1. **Akeyless** → **Set** → **HTTP Request**\n\n2. **Set Node:**\n   - Field: `apiKey`\n   - Value: `={{$json[\"/myapp/api-key\"]}}` (use your secret name)\n\n3. **HTTP Request:**\n   - Header: `X-API-Key: {{$json.apiKey}}`\n\n### Example 3: Create Secret\n\n1. Add **Akeyless** node\n   - Operation: **Create Secret**\n   - Secret Name: `/myapp/database/password` (your desired path)\n   - Type: **Generic**\n   - Secret Value: `your-secret-value`\n   - Accessibility: **Regular**\n\n## Response Format\n\nAll operations return the **raw API response** from Akeyless.
