This is intentional and is acceptable only for one trusted user on a personally controlled machine working with trusted repositories.\n\nA native Git worktree is **not a security sandbox**. It only isolates ordinary Git edits. It does **not** prevent access to files outside the repository, global configuration, the network, credentials, package installs, or destructive commands. Use `--safe` for anything you do not fully trust.\n\nHaude has **no tmux integration**, ever. Native agent teams are forced to `in-process`.\n\n## Requirements\n\n- Claude Code **`>= 2.1.211`** (older versions are rejected — no compatibility shims).\n- Node **`>= 20`**.\n\n## Install\n\n```bash\nnpm install -g @alansynn/haude\n```\n\nIf you previously used `oh-my-claudecode`, **disable or uninstall that plugin first** through Claude Code's plugin manager. Haude is a standalone executable, not a plugin, and a clean runtime requires OMC to be gone from your environment.\n\n## Usage\n\nDefault launch — opens a native worktree + named session, bypasses permissions, appends the contract:\n\n```bash\nhaude \"Fix the authentication refresh race and verify it\"\n```\n\nRun in the current checkout (no worktree):\n\n```bash\nhaude --here \"Update a small comment\"\n```\n\nRun with normal permission prompts (omits the bypass):\n\n```bash\nhaude --safe \"Inspect this downloaded repository\"\n```\n\nNon-interactive print mode (adds native `-p`):\n\n```bash\nhaude exec \"Return exactly OK\"\n```\n\nResume a named session (no new worktree is created):\n\n```bash\nhaude resume auth-refactor-7f2a\n```\n\nPass native Claude flags after `--`:\n\n```bash\nhaude \"Investigate the regression\" -- --model opus --effort max\n```\n\nRead-only environment check:\n\n```bash\nhaude doctor\n```\n\n## Flags\n\n| Flag | Meaning |\n| --- | --- |\n| `--safe` | Omit `--dangerously-skip-permissions` (does **not** pass native `--safe-mode`) |\n| `--here` | Do not request a native worktree |\n| `--name <name>` | Use this validated name for both worktree and session |\n| `--no-contract` | Do not append the bundled execution contract |\n| `--claude-bin <path>` | Use this Claude binary for one invocation |\n| `--help` | Print concise help |\n| `--version` | Print the Haude version |\n\nThe `HAUDE_CLAUDE_BIN` environment variable is an alternative to `--claude-bin`; the flag wins.\n\n## No-tmux guarantee\n\nHaude always passes `--teammate-mode in-process` and rejects `--tmux`, `--tmux=classic`, `--teammate-mode tmux`, and `--teammate-mode=tmux`. If you want tmux, invoke raw `claude` directly — Haude will never introduce it.\n\n## Raw Claude escape hatch\n\nHaude only adds a launch preset. Everything else stays native:\n\n```bash\nclaude agents\nclaude attach <id>\nclaude logs <id>\nclaude stop <id>\nclaude mcp\nclaude plugin\n```\n\n## What Haude deliberately is not\n\n- not a plugin, marketplace package, or skill/command/agent/hook/MCP bundle;\n- not a workflow engine (no Autopilot/Ralph/Ralplan/Ultrawork/etc.);\n- not a team runtime, mailbox, or worker registry;\n- not a task database, daemon, watcher, or state directory;\n- not a provider bridge (Codex/Gemini/Cursor/etc.);\n- not an auto-updater, installer, or migration engine;\n- not a memory, wiki, learner, HUD, analytics, or notification system.\n\nNative Claude Code already owns worktrees, sessions, subagents, teams, skills, hooks, MCP, `CLAUDE.md`, auto memory, planning, goals, review, and verification.
