It is _not_ intended for use in production-grade software.**\n\nThis project was created and published by me as part of my learnings at Lighthouse Labs. \n\n## Usage\n\n**Install it:**\n\n`npm install @username/lotide`\n\n**Require it:**\n\n`const _ = require('@aleksa-ai/lotide');`\n\n**Call it:**\n\n`const results = _.tail([1, 2, 3]) // => [2, 3]`\n\n## Documentation\n\nThe following functions are currently implemented:\n\n* `head(...)`: retrieves the first element from the array\n* `tail(...)`: every element except the head (first element) of the array\n* `middle(...)`: return the middle-most element(s) of the given array\n* `assertArraysEqual(...)`: asserts equalities between two arrays\n* `assertEqual(...)`: asserts equalities between two values\n* `assertObjectsEqual(...)`: asserts equalities between two objects\n* `countLetters(...)`: taked in a sentence (as a string) and then return a count of each of the letters in that sentence\n* `countOnly(...)`: takes in a collection of items and return counts for a specific subset of those items\n* `eqArrays(...)`: compare two arrays for a perfect match\n* `eqObjects(...)`: takes in two objects and returns true or false, based on a perfect match\n* `findKey(...)`: takes in an object and a callback. It should scan the object and return the first key for which the callback returns a truthy value. If no key is found, then it should return undefined.\n* `findKeyByValue(...)`: search for a key on an object where its value matches a given value\n* `letterPositions(...)`: returns all the indices (zero-based positions) in the string where each character is found\n* `map(...)`: return a new array based on the results of the callback function\n* `takeUntil(...)`: keeps collecting items from a provided array until the callback provided returns a truthy value\n* `without(...)`: returns a subset of a given array, removing unwanted elements","readmeFilename":"README.md"}
