Reference Anthropic integration is live as a narrow library adapter. It does not own OAuth, API keys, terminal UX, tools, publication, or provider account state.\n\n## Requirements\n\n- Node 20+.\n- ESM-only. Add `\"type\": \"module\"` to your `package.json`, use `.mjs`, or use\n  a build tool/runtime that handles ESM. This adapter only receives an already-authenticated client.\n\n## What this package does\n\n- Records conversation turns as append-only Aletheia events.\n- Asks an Anthropic-compatible client to draft memory proposals as JSON.\n- Sends every draft through `AletheiaAuthority.propose()` before anything becomes a MemoryAtom.\n- Recalls memory through `AletheiaAuthority.recall()` and re-checks action authority through `tryAct()` before calling the model for an answer.\n- Refuses to call the model when recall/action authority fails closed.\n\n## Client contract\n\nThe adapter accepts any object with the `messages.create(input)` shape exposed by `@anthropic-ai/sdk`:\n\n```ts\nconst bridge = new AletheiaAnthropicBridge({\n  client: new Anthropic({ apiKey: process.env.ANTHROPIC_API_KEY }),\n  authority,\n  eventLedger,\n  model: 'claude-3-5-sonnet-latest',\n});\n```\n\n`@anthropic-ai/sdk` is an optional peer dependency. `@aletheia-labs/core` stays SDK-free.\n\n## What this package does NOT do\n\n- No OAuth, device login, refresh-token handling, or subscription plumbing.\n- No authority upgrade from model output.\n- No tool execution.\n- No semantic retrieval, embeddings, vector index, or ranking.\n- No bypass around `propose`, `recall`, or `tryAct`.\n\n## Stability\n\nPublic surface for the initial library cycle:\n\n- `AletheiaAnthropicBridge`\n- `AnthropicMessagesClient`\n- `ConversationIngestionInput`\n- `AnswerWithRecallInput`\n- `ConversationIngestionResult`\n- `AnswerWithRecallResult`\n\nEverything else is adapter plumbing and may change during the `0.x` line.\n\n## Development\n\nFrom the repo root:\n\n```bash\npnpm install\npnpm -F @aletheia-labs/adapters-anthropic typecheck\npnpm -F @aletheia-labs/adapters-anthropic test\npnpm -F @aletheia-labs/adapters-anthropic build\n```\n\n## Boundary\n\nThe model may suggest memory.
