to\ngenerate html output from markdown files.\n\n[![NPM version](https://img.shields.io/npm/v/unexpected-markdown.svg)](https://www.npmjs.com/package/unexpected-markdown)\n[![Build Status](https://img.shields.io/travis/unexpectedjs/unexpected-markdown/master.svg)](https://travis-ci.org/unexpectedjs/unexpected-markdown)\n[![Coverage Status](https://img.shields.io/coveralls/unexpectedjs/unexpected-markdown/master.svg)](https://coveralls.io/r/unexpectedjs/unexpected-markdown?branch=master)\n\nIn addition to what marked already offers, this module uses\n[magicpen-prism](https://github.com/unexpectedjs/magicpen-prism) to syntax\nhighlight code blocks and uses [unexpected](http://unexpectedjs.github.io/) to\nevaluate JavaScript code examples.\n\nRight now the documentation for this plugin is pretty lacking, until\nthat is fixed the best example on how to use the plugin is to look at\nhow it is used in\n[unexpected](https://github.com/unexpectedjs/unexpected/tree/master/site).\n\nAn example is a JavaScript code block:\n\n    ```js\n    helloWorld()\n    ```\n\nIf you expect the example to fail, you can follow the code block with\nan expected output block:\n\n    ```output\n    Error: Silence this is a library!\n    ```\n\nThere are a few things you can achieve more then what is explained\nabove, like async examples with promises and skiping examples for\ndifferent environments or just skipping evaluation altogether. For now\nyou'll have to look at how\n[unexpected](https://github.com/unexpectedjs/unexpected/tree/master/site)\ndoes it to learn the ticks.\n","readmeFilename":"README.md"}
