It has a simple API with powerful features like lazy code\n> loading, dynamic route matching, and location transition handling built right in.\n> Make the URL your first thought, not an after-thought.\n\nOne App Router was forked from [react-router@3](https://github.com/ReactTraining/react-router/tree/v3) and is being uplifted to work with `react@17`.\n\nThe reason for forking `react-router@3`, rather than switching to a different router or upgrading to a newer version, is due to the coupling of `react-router@3`'s API with [One App](https://github.com/americanexpress/one-app), [Holocron](https://github.com/americanexpress/holocron) and existing One App modules.\n\nWe want to ensure that One App will be compatible with `react@17`, in its current state `react-router@3` relies on React's legacy context API, which will be removed in `react@17`, as well as legacy UNSAFE lifecycle methods.\n\nUpdating to the new context API would be considered a breaking change as `react-router` would no longer be compatible with older versions of `react@<16.3.0`.
