This lowers the total cost of maintaining your apps, enabling you to build more logic, faster.\n\nThe Framework uses new event-driven compute services, like AWS Lambda, Google Cloud Functions, and more. It's a command-line tool, providing scaffolding, workflow automation and best practices for developing and deploying your serverless architecture. [Watch the video on setting up credentials](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HSd9uYj2LJA)\n\n3. **Create a Service:**\n\nYou can create a new service or [install existing services](#how-to-install-a-service).\n\n```bash\n# Create a new Serverless Service/Project\nserverless create --template aws-nodejs --path my-service\n# Change into the newly created directory\ncd my-service\n```\n\n4. **Deploy a Service:**\n\nUse this when you have made changes to your Functions, Events or Resources in `serverless.yml` or you simply want to deploy all changes within your Service at the same time.\n\n```bash\nserverless deploy -v\n```\n\n5. **Deploy the Function:**\n\nUse this to quickly upload and overwrite your AWS Lambda code on AWS, allowing you to develop faster.\n\n```bash\nserverless deploy function -f hello\n```\n\n6. **Invoke the Function on AWS:**\n\nInvokes an AWS Lambda Function on AWS and returns logs.\n\n```bash\nserverless invoke -f hello -l\n```\n\n7. **Invoke the Function on your machine:**\n\nInvokes an AWS Lambda Function on your local machine and returns logs.\n\n```bash\nserverless invoke local -f hello -l\n```\n\n8. **Fetch the Function Logs:**\n\nOpen up a separate tab in your console and stream all logs for a specific Function using this command.\n\n```bash\nserverless logs -f hello -t\n```\n\n9. **Remove the Service:**\n\nRemoves all Functions, Events and Resources from your AWS account.\n\n```bash\nserverless remove\n```\n\n### How to Install a Service:\n\nThis is a convenience method to install a pre-made Serverless Service locally by downloading the Github repo and unzipping it.
