Test output is pretty printed.\n 2. Equality assertions are also diffed.\n\n Version 0.8.0 and later of humane-test-output requires Clojure 1.8.0 or later.\n** IDEs\n This test output formatting works great with Emacs and cider 0.10 or lower,\n and when running Leiningen in a console. However, some IDEs are also bashing\n in their own versions of test formatting.\n\n I do not recommend using this with cider 0.11.0 or greater or with Cursive,\n or LightTable, or any other IDE.\n** Clojure\n To activate it you will need to call ~pjstadig.humane-test-output/activate!~.\n The preferred way to do this with Leiningen is to use an injection in\n the :user profile in your ~/.lein/profiles.clj:\n \n #+BEGIN_EXAMPLE\n {:user {:dependencies [[pjstadig/humane-test-output \"0.8.3\"]]\n :injections [(require 'pjstadig.humane-test-output)\n (pjstadig.humane-test-output/activate!)]}}\n #+END_EXAMPLE\n \n If you are on a mixed team and some members need to disable humane test\n output, they can define the ~INHUMANE_TEST_OUTPUT~ environment variable,\n though again it's better for each user to enable it in their own\n ~/.lein/profiles.clj.\n \n Once humane-test-output is activated, instead of this:\n #+BEGIN_EXAMPLE\n FAIL in (a-test) (humane_test_output_test.clj:7)\n FIXME, I fail.\n expected: (= {:foo :bar, :baz :quux, :something \"a long string?\", :another-key \"and another value\"} {:fo :bar, :baz :quux, :something \"a long string?\", :another-key \"and another value\"})\n actual: (not (= {:another-key \"and another value\", :foo :bar, :something \"a long string?\", :baz :quux} {:another-key \"and another value\", :something \"a long string?\", :fo :bar, :baz :quux}))\n \n FAIL in (a-test) (humane_test_output_test.clj:11)\n FIXME, I fail.\n expected: (= {:foo :bar, :baz :quux} {:foo :bar, :baz :quux} {:fo :bar, :baz :quux})\n actual: (not (= {:foo :bar, :baz :quux} {:foo :bar, :baz :quux} {:fo :bar, :baz :quux}))\n FAIL in (a-test) (humane_test_output_test.clj:14)\n \n FIXME, I fail.\n expected: (list? foo)\n actual: (not (list? {:another-key \"and another value\", :foo :bar, :something \"a long string?\", :baz :quux}))\n #+END_EXAMPLE\n \n You get this:\n #+BEGIN_EXAMPLE\n FAIL in (a-test) (humane_test_output_test.clj:7)\n FIXME, I fail.\n expected: {:another-key \"and another value\",\n :foo :bar,\n :something \"a long string?\",\n :baz :quux}\n actual: {:fo :bar}\n diff: - {:baz :quux,\n :something \"a long string?\",\n :foo :bar,\n :another-key \"and another value\"}\n + {:fo :bar}\n \n FAIL in (a-test) (humane_test_output_test.clj:10)\n FIXME, I fail.\n expected: {:foo :bar, :baz :quux}\n actual: {:fo :bar, :baz :quux}\n diff: - {:foo :bar}\n + {:fo :bar}\n \n FAIL in (a-test) (humane_test_output_test.clj:13)\n FIXME, I fail.\n expected: (list? foo)\n actual: (not\n (list?\n {:another-key \"and another value\",\n :foo :bar,\n :something \"a long string?\",\n :baz :quux}))\n #+END_EXAMPLE\n\n *BONUS FEATURE*\n \n A test containing ~(is (= oops-i-only-gave-one-argument))~ will throw an\n exception.\n** ClojureScript\n It is not necessary to activate humane-test-output with ClojureScript, but\n the behavior should be much the same as with Clojure.\n** License\n #+BEGIN_EXAMPLE\n Copyright © Paul Stadig and Outpace Systems, Inc.
