This would be accomplished just like any\nother `npm` or `yarn` package.\n\n- [Getting Started](#getting-started)\n- [Technical Stack](#technical-stack)\n- [Project Structure Summary](#project-structure-summary)\n  - [Notable files in project root](#notable-files-in-project-root)\n  - [Components](#components)\n  - [Css](#css)\n- [License](#license)\n\n## Getting Started\n\n1. Clone this repo.\n2. Run `yarn`.\n3. Run `yarn start` to start your development environment.\n\n## Technical Stack\n\nThis design system was created and developed with the following:\n\n- [React](https://reactjs.org/) - Declarative, reusable components.\n- [TypeScript](https://www.typescriptlang.org/) - Static typechecking.\n- [TailwindCSS](https://tailwindcss.com/) - Declarative and performant\n  utility-based CSS.\n- [StoryBook](https://storybook.js.org/) - Dedicated and isolated environment\n  for developing components.\n\n## Project Structure Summary\n\n### Notable files in project root\n\nThe only notable file in the project root is our `taildinw.config.js` file. Use\nthis file to customize our generated utility classes for styling.\n\nRight now, we're mostly relying on the default theme provided out of the box.\n\n### Components\n\nWithin the `src` directory we have our `components` folder. This is where most\ndevelopment will take place.\n\nWithin `components`, we have the following folders:\n\n`core` - Low level components that will aid in quickly creating larger\ncomponents. An example of one of these components would is our `<AspectRatio>`\ncomponent. This component ensures that an image is always affixed to a certain\n`x:y` ratio.\n\nThese components should not have **any** styling and should be entirely\n**utility-centric**.\n\n`common` - Components that are commonly reused across larger components that\n**contain styling**. Examples of components in this directory include `<Button>`\nor `<Heading>`.\n\nThese components should not have **any** spacing related styling applied to them\nby default. These components should always provide an intuitive API to allow\nspacing/alignment to be modified via `props` or Tailwind classes.\n\n### Css\n\nWithin the `css` directory we have 3 stylesheets. For the most part, we should\n_avoid_ writing custom CSS as much as possible, and leverage Tailwind utilities\nwhenever we can. However, sometimes we need to eject and write plain CSS (CSS\ngrid, clip-path, etc.), so we can use these stylesheets to do so.\n\n`base.css` - contains our custom preflight styles for our system. This shouldn't\never need to be modified.\n\n`components.css` - contains custom CSS styling for each component that may need\nit. When writing custom CSS, adhere to standard BEM practice by using the\ncomponent's name as the top level Block.\n\nWhenever possible, leverage Tailwind's `theme()`, `@screen`, and `@apply`\ndirectives. This helps to ensure design consistency even when writing custom\nCSS.\n\n## License\n\nMIT.\n","readmeFilename":"README.md"}
