Any options provided to a function will override the constructor options.\n\nSee [the API section](#api) for more information.\n\n#### Response parsing\n\nEven though these examples focus on Request bodies, there is nothing stopping you from using Bodyguard to parse and guard Response bodies as well, e.g. from user-supplied, untrusted APIs or webhooks.\n\n## Parsing rules\n\n### JSON\n\nJSON data is returned like `JSON.parse()` would return it.\n\n### Multipart form data\n\nTrailing newlines are stripped from the end of values.\n\n### URL-encoded form data\n\nValues are decoded using `decodeURIComponent()`.\n\n#### Handling plus (+) signs URL-encoded forms\n\nIf you are submitting a javascript-free form, you may want to convert `+` to spaces in the form data, as browsers regularly transform spaces into pluses when submitting urlencoded forms. Javascript submitted forms don't have this problem.\n\nYou can do this automatically by passing `convertPluses: true` as an option to `form()` or `softForm()`. It won't affect multipart form data, so consider using `enctype=\"application/x-www-form-urlencoded\"` in your form tag if you need proper spaces and plus signs.
