Both ship with the toolkit and get deployed into every project under `.claude/docs/`:\n\n- **[docs/aykan-help.html](docs/aykan-help.html)** — usage, common scenarios, best practices, memory hygiene, upgrade flow\n- **[docs/aykan-architecture.html](docs/aykan-architecture.html)** — visual reference: orchestrator pattern, three-layer memory, workflow diagrams\n\nOpen either in a browser. Inside an installed project, they're at `.claude/docs/aykan-help.html` and `.claude/docs/aykan-architecture.html`.\n\nFor in-CLI guidance once you're working in a project: `/aykan-help` (topic-based one-pagers, e.g. `/aykan-help routing`, `/aykan-help dream`).\n\n---\n\n## What this gives you (one-liner)\n\nA single orchestrator (`@aykan-orchestrator`) — your only interlocutor — that routes every dev request to the right BMAD skill and dispatches the right domain-memory agent for context and recording. BMAD handles *what to build and how*; Aykan handles *why it was built that way* — captured in per-domain wikis, regenerated by `/aykan-dream`.\n\nThe wikis are **written to be read by humans**: each decision is a short narrative paragraph explaining what was chosen and why, with a Markdown `Sources:` link back to the session it came from. Everything renders on GitHub, in VS Code, or any Markdown viewer — no Obsidian required. Check memory health any time with `/aykan-status` (a plain-Markdown report). Obsidian is an optional power-user browser (set `wiki_format: \"obsidian\"` in the registry to switch to wikilinks + a live Dataview dashboard).\n\n## Quick start\n\n### Option A: Install via npm (recommended)\n\n```bash\n# 1. Install globally\nnpm install -g @aykansoft/agent-ecosystem\n\n# 2. In the target project, install BMAD v6 first\ncd your-project\nnpx bmad-method install\n\n# 3. Run setup\naykan-ecosystem init\n\n# 4. Open Claude Code\nclaude\n# Type: @aykan-orchestrator Hi, let's get started\n```\n\nOr use `npx` without installing globally:\n\n```bash\ncd your-project\nnpx bmad-method install\nnpx @aykansoft/agent-ecosystem init\n```\n\n### Option B: Install from source\n\nThe toolkit lives in **one location** on your machine. You run setup from there and it asks for the target project path — no need to clone the toolkit per project.\n\n#### Windows\n\n```powershell\n# 1. (One-time) Place the toolkit anywhere convenient\ngit clone <repo-url> C:\\tools\\aykan-agent-ecosystem\n\n# 2. In the target project, install BMAD v6 first\ncd C:\\repos\\your-project\nnpx bmad-method install\n\n# 3. Run setup — from anywhere. It will prompt for the target project path.\npowershell -ExecutionPolicy Bypass -File C:\\tools\\aykan-agent-ecosystem\\scripts\\setup.ps1\n\n# 4. Open Claude Code in that project\ncd C:\\repos\\your-project\nclaude\n# Type: @aykan-orchestrator Hi, let's get started\n```\n\n#### Unix / macOS\n\n```bash\ngit clone <repo-url> ~/tools/aykan-agent-ecosystem\ncd ~/code/your-project && npx bmad-method install\nbash ~/tools/aykan-agent-ecosystem/scripts/setup.sh\ncd ~/code/your-project && claude\n```\n\nTo set up additional projects, just re-run setup with a different target path. The toolkit installation is shared.\n\nAfter setup, open `.claude/docs/aykan-help.html` in your browser for the full guide, or run `/aykan-help` in Claude Code.\n\n## Upgrading\n\n```\n@aykan-orchestrator upgrade the toolkit\n# or:\n/aykan-upgrade\n```\n\nCompares the toolkit's source `VERSION` against the project's installed `aykan_version`, surfaces every changed file via dynamic directory walk, and prompts before overwriting any locally edited ones. See [docs/aykan-help.html#upgrade](docs/aykan-help.html#upgrade) for details.\n\n## Repository layout\n\n| Path | Purpose |\n|---|---|\n| [docs/](docs/) | Help + architecture docs (deployed to `.claude/docs/` on install) |\n| [scripts/](scripts/) | `setup.ps1`, `setup.sh`, `aykan-date.sh` (UTC date helper), `validate-wiki.js`, hook scripts |\n| [skills/](skills/) | All `aykan-*` skills (each becomes a `/aykan-*` slash command in installed projects) |\n| [templates/](templates/) | Orchestrator + domain agent + goal-page templates |\n| [lib/](lib/) | Reusable validators (`wiki-format.js`) |\n| [tests/](tests/) | Node test suite (`npm test` — runs the wiki-format validator) |\n| [bmad_compat/](bmad_compat/) | BMAD-version-specific config (currently v6) |\n| [ROADMAP.md](ROADMAP.md) | Future plans (npm distribution, etc.) |\n| [VERSION](VERSION) | Single source of truth for toolkit version |\n\n## License & feedback\n\nCreated by Aykan ([aykansoft.com](https://aykansoft.com)). Issues and PRs welcome.\n","readmeFilename":"README.md"}
