dsh-reasoning\n\nCodex-style **`/reasoning`** command for [DeepSeek Harness](https://github.com/deepseek-ai/deepseek-harness) Web.\n\nType `/reasoning` in the composer, press Enter, and pick a reasoning effort\n(`Off` / `Low` / `High` / `Max`, whatever the current model's adapter\nadvertises) from the popup — fully keyboard-driven, no mouse required.\n\n## Why\n\nThe built-in model picker exposes reasoning effort through a two-level menu\nin the composer seat. This plugin surfaces the exact same data as a slash\ncommand, so switching effort is three keystrokes instead of a click path:\n`/reasoning` → Enter → ↑↓ (or type to filter) → Enter.\n\nIt is a thin client-only plugin:\n\n- no host configuration, no persistence, no settings page;\n- registers one `popupSelect` command contribution through the official\n  `ctx.commandUi` extension point (the same one `/model` uses);\n- submits picks through the shared per-session model directory\n  (`ctx.modelDirectories` → `session.selectModel`), i.e. the identical RPC the\n  composer effort pane uses;\n- never touches the draft, the IME composition, or an in-flight request —\n  a pick applies to the next model request only.\n\n## Requirements\n\n- DeepSeek Harness Web host exposing the `model-directory` service and the\n  `commandUi` extension point (both ship with the official Web bundle);\n- an open ordinary session with a model selected (the model's adapter must\n  advertise reasoning metadata — the popup lists them; without a selected\n  model the popup stays empty and the pick reports the host error).\n\n## Install\n\nAdd the package to a Web profile `dsh.profile.bundles`, e.g.:\n\n```bash\ndsh plugin --profile <profile> add @bo_wu/dsh-reasoning\n```\n\nor reference it from your own `cordis.patch.yml`:\n\n```yaml\n- insert:\n    - id: dsh-reasoning\n      name: '@bo_wu/dsh-reasoning'\n```\n\nThen restart the profile's Web host.\n\n## Behavior contract\n\n- The command is hidden for addressed subagent sessions (same rule as\n  `/model`).\n- A pick re-selects the **current** model with the chosen effort; the popup\n  lists only the current model's advertised effort levels, plus a `Default`\n  row when the adapter has no explicit default.\n- Selecting the already-active effort closes the popup without a request.\n- Rejected selections keep the previous effort and surface the host error in\n  the popup.\n- No global keyboard shortcuts — nothing to conflict with other plugins.\n\n## Publish (maintainer)\n\n- CI (`pnpm check`: typecheck + tests + build) runs on every push/PR.\n- Tagging `v*` publishes the package to npm (public) via GitHub Actions.\n- Publishing needs the repo secret `NPM_TOKEN`: an npm **automation** token\n  (npmjs.com → Access Tokens → Generate New Token → Automation) for an\n  account owning the `@bo_wu` scope.\n\n## Development\n\n```bash\npnpm install\npnpm build      # tsc -b && tsdown → lib/\npnpm test       # vitest\npnpm check      # typecheck + test + build\n```\n\nThe browser bundle is produced by `tsdown` into `lib/client.js` wrapped in\nthe DSH lazy module loader.\n\n## License\n\nMIT\n","readmeFilename":"README.md"}
