A good fit for triaging\nerror-monitoring issues from an agent: discover projects, list and search\nissues, read a single issue, and resolve or assign it.\n\n## Credentials\n\n| Env                 | How to obtain                                                                                                                                             |\n| ------------------- | --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |\n| `SENTRY_AUTH_TOKEN` | Create an auth token in Sentry (Settings → Account → [Auth Tokens](https://sentry.io/settings/account/api/auth-tokens/)), grant the scopes, then copy it. |\n\nRequired scopes: `org:read`, `project:read`, `event:read`, and `event:write`.\nThe token is read lazily, so the server boots and answers `tools/list` without\nit; calls fail with an `auth` error until it is set.\n\n## Tools\n\n| Tool            | Arguments                                                                | Returns           |\n| --------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------ | ----------------- |\n| `list_projects` | `organization_slug`, `query?`, `per_page?`, `cursor?`                    | `{ items }`       |\n| `list_issues`   | `organization_slug`, `project_slug`, `query?`, `statsPeriod?`, `cursor?` | `{ items }`       |\n| `get_issue`     | `organization_slug`, `issue_id`                                          | the issue record  |\n| `update_issue`  | `organization_slug`, `issue_id`, `status?`, `priority?`, `assignedTo?`   | the updated issue |\n\nResponses are Sentry's native JSON. List endpoints return bare JSON arrays, which\nare wrapped under an `items` key.\n\n### Working with issues\n\nOrganization and project are passed per call as slugs (the values in the\n`sentry.io` URLs). Use `list_projects` to discover a project slug, then\n`list_issues` (optionally with a Sentry search `query` such as `is:unresolved` or\n`level:error`) to find issues. `update_issue` changes only the fields you pass —\ne.g. `status: \"resolved\"` to resolve, `status: \"unresolved\"` to reopen, or\n`assignedTo` to assign. List endpoints paginate via a `cursor` carried in the\nresponse `Link` header.\n\n## Develop\n\n```bash\npnpm --filter @bossforce.ai/mcp-sentry build\npnpm --filter @bossforce.ai/mcp-sentry test\n```\n\nRegenerate the tools/list snapshot after an intentional signature change:\n\n```bash\nUPDATE_SNAPSHOTS=1 pnpm --filter @bossforce.ai/mcp-sentry test\n```\n","readmeFilename":"README.md","_rev":"1-baa42fa20b590e3a850a8747eea83ab0"}
