Instead of\nimporting a component you cannot edit, you pull the actual source of a slide\narchetype into your codebase and own it from there.\n\n## What it does\n\nIt ships a set of slide archetypes (a concept slide, an image-caption slide, a\nspeaker intro, and more) described in a generated catalog you can browse. You\npick one by id and copy its source in with the butai CLI, which also brings along\nanything it depends on. The copied slide renders on the `@butai/deck` engine.\n\n## Install\n\nInstall the kit so the CLI can read its registry, then copy slides in:\n\n```sh\npnpm add @butai/slide-kit\nbutai add concept-slide\n```\n\nYou do not import from this package at runtime. It is the source of the copy-in\nregistry the `butai add` command reads.\n\n## Usage\n\nBrowse the catalog to find an archetype id, then add it:\n\n```sh\nbutai add speaker-intro-slide image-caption-slide\n```\n\nEach id in `catalog/catalog.md` maps to a registry entry the CLI copies into the\naliases your `butai.json` defines.\n\n## Under the hood\n\n- `catalog/catalog.json` and `catalog/catalog.md`: the generated, human- and\n  machine-readable list of archetypes (regenerated with `pnpm gen`).\n- `registry/index.json`: the copy-in registry the CLI resolves against.\n- `src/`: the archetype sources (`slides/`, `primitives/`, `styles/`).\n- Style entry: `@butai/slide-kit/styles/index.css`.\n- Peers on React 19; depends on `@butai/deck` and `@butai/patterns`.\n","readmeFilename":"README.md","_rev":"1-47e479c0bf80bbd10c49aeece0fa9e79"}
