It is _not_ intended for use in production-grade software.**\n\nThis project was created and published by me as part of my learnings at Lighthouse Labs. \n\n## Usage\n\n**Install it:**\n\n`npm install caboma/lotide`\n\n**Require it:**\n\n`const _ = require('caboma/lotide');`\n\n**Call it:**\n\n`const results = _.tail([1, 2, 3]) // => [2, 3]`\n\n## Documentation\n\nThe following functions are currently implemented:\n\n* `assertArraysEqual`: which will take in two arrays and console.log an appropriate message to the console\n* `assertEqual`: implement custom assertEqual function to help us test code\n* `assertObjectsEqual`: function which easily test functions that return objects\n* `countLetters`: take in a sentence (as a string) and then return a count of each of the letters\n* `countOnly`: take in a collection of items and return counts for a specific subset of those items\n* `eqArrays`: takes in two arrays and returns true or false\n* `eqObjects`: take in two objects and returns true or false, based on a perfect match\n* `findKey`: which takes in an object and a callback. It should scan the object and return the first key for which the callback returns a truthy value\n* `findKeyByValue`: takes in an object and a value , scan the object and return the first key which contains the given value\n* `head`: function for arrays to retrieve the first element from the array\n* `letterPositions`: which will return all the indices (zero-based positions) in the string where each character is found\n* `map`: will return a new array based on the results of the callback function\n* `middle`: will take in an array and return the middle-most element(s) of the given array\n* `tail`: function for arrays to retrieve the last element from the array\n* `takeUntil`: will keep collecting items from a provided array until the callback provided returns a truthy value\n* `without`: will return a subset of a given array, removing unwanted elements","readmeFilename":"README.md"}
