The\npublished packages are a permanent public baseline (ADR 0028); this one is not\npart of it.\n\n## What belongs here\n\nAnything a client needs to speak the protocol: constants it branches on, shapes\nit exchanges, invariants it can assert.\n\n## What must never land here\n\nProvider implementations, prompts, model names, routing or fallback logic,\nquality-profile internals. The reading test (ADR 0006): a developer holding only\nthis package and the client should be unable to rebuild the platform. If a type\nencodes *how* something is computed rather than *what* is exchanged, it belongs\nin the platform.\n\n## The additive rule\n\nWithin a major version, a status, code, scope, capability or record field may\nbe **added**, never removed or repurposed. `scripts/check-contract-additive.mjs`\nfails the build on a removal, checked against `contract-baseline.json`.\n\n## Records\n\nThe execution record (AIOG's audit account of one execution) and the external\nexecution report (a product-side fallback reported to AIOG) are defined in\n`src/execution.js` and documented field by field in [SCHEMA.md](./SCHEMA.md).\nBoth are contract only as of 18.09.2026: nothing writes them yet. Every\njurisdiction in them carries its source, so \"unknown\" is recorded rather than\nleft out.
