pi-subscription-meter\n\nA Pi extension package for surfacing subscription, quota, and usage limits across AI providers.\n\n## Status\n\nEarly framework in place.\n\nThis repository currently contains:\n- npm + TypeScript package setup for a Pi extension\n- a `/subscriptions` Pi command\n- a tabbed Pi TUI dialog that renders one tab per enabled provider\n- a pluggable provider registry with initial scaffolds for OpenAI Codex, GitHub Copilot, Anthropic, OpenRouter, and OpenCode\n- repo-level agent instructions in `AGENTS.md`\n- Agent Skills under `.agents/skills/`\n- an implementation planning workflow under `.agents/plans/`\n\nActual subscription fetching, auth wiring, and live usage meters will come next.\n\n## Initial scope\n\nThe extension is intended to track or summarize subscription/usage information for providers such as:\n- Anthropic\n- OpenAI / ChatGPT / Codex\n- OpenRouter\n- OpenCode\n- GitHub Copilot\n\n## Inspiration\n\nThis project is intentionally inspired by:\n- `latentminds-ai/pi-quotas`\n- <https://github.com/latentminds-ai/pi-quotas>\n\n## Development\n\n```bash\nnpm install\nnpm run typecheck\n```\n\n## Current command\n\nOnce this extension is loaded in Pi, use:\n\n```text\n/subscriptions\n```\n\nThis opens a tabbed dialog showing all currently enabled provider scaffolds.\n\nPress `s` inside the dialog to open provider settings in a sub-dialog overlay and enable/disable providers.\n\n## Enabled providers\n\nEnabled providers are determined by saved extension settings.\n\nThe extension stores its settings in the Pi agent directory using the documented Pi helper for resolving that path (`getAgentDir()`), and writes:\n\n```text\n~/.pi/agent/subscription-meter.json\n```\n\nIf `PI_CODING_AGENT_DIR` is set, Pi’s configured agent directory override is respected automatically.\n\nUse the in-app settings overlay opened with `s` from `/subscriptions` to update provider enablement.\n\n## Planned package shape\n\n-
