What is this?\n\n**Heimdall** is a tool for converting more easily one or more databases from one format to another.\n\n\n\n## Why should I use it?\n\nIf, for example, you find yourself in one of the following situations...\n\n- you need access to data, but it is not stored in a format compatible with your favorite software...\n- you'd prefer to merge several heterogeneous databases into a single corpus, easier to analyze...\n- you're considering which input format to use for your software or database...\n- you want to make your data more accessible and interoperable...\n\n... then Heimdall can offer you an exchange format, and abstract the details of data implementation: yours, but also those of others.\n\nThanks to Heimdall, you can also switch from one technology to another in a matter of moments, as and when you need to, without ever losing, disorganizing or corrupting your data.\n\nIn a nutshell, **HEIMDALL** is your **H**igh **E**nd **I**nteroperability **M**odule when **D**ata is **ALL** over the place.\nIt's a bridge between scattered islands of data.\n\n\n\n## Is it documented?\n\nSure!  \nYou can read the [user manual here](https://datasphere.readthedocs.io/projects/heimdall/), or jump directly to the [technical reference here](https://datasphere.gitpages.huma-num.fr/heimdall/connectors/wikidata/js/doc/).  \nYou can use your IDE built-in access to code documentation features, too.\n\n\n\n## Is it tested?\n\nOf course!  \nHere's [the coverage report](https://datasphere.gitpages.huma-num.fr/heimdall/connector/wikidata/js/coverage/).\n\nYou can run all tests on your machine, too.  \nAfter having cloned this repository, enter it, setup your dev environment, and then do for example:\n```\npnpm run test:coverage\n```\n\n\n## How can I contribute?\n\n_Aww_ that's so very kind of you! (｡◕‿‿◕｡)♥  \nPull requests are welcome. For major changes, please [open an issue first](https://gitlab.huma-num.fr/datasphere/heimdall/js/-/issues/) to discuss what you would like to change.\n\n\n\n## License\n\n[GNU Affero General Public License version 3.0 or later](https://choosealicense.com/licenses/agpl/)\n\n\n\n## Acknowledgments\n\nHeimdall would like to thank all its contributors and users for their support and feedback. ʕᵔᴥᵔʔ\n\n\n## Resources\n\n* [Documentation](https://datasphere.readthedocs.io/projects/heimdall/)\n* [Releases](https://www.npmjs.com/package/@cnrs/heimdall-wikidata?activeTab=versions)\n* [Getting help](https://gitlab.huma-num.fr/datasphere/heimdall/connectors/wikidata/js/-/issues/)\n* [Citing](https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.10671999): ⟨[10.5281/zenodo.10671999](https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.10671999)⟩\n","readmeFilename":"README.md"}
