The\nNode you install *with* is not a Node the tool then runs *on*, and there are no dependencies\nto resolve at run time. Installing with `--ignore-scripts` works: there is no install script.\n\nnpm fetches only the build for your platform, chosen by `os`, `cpu` and `libc`:\n\nmacOS on Apple silicon and Intel · Linux x86-64 and arm64, glibc or musl · Windows x86-64.\n\nAn Alpine image gets the musl build rather than a glibc binary that installs cleanly and then\nfails to exec.\n\n## Your first call\n\n`co3 context create` asks for an environment, a client id and a secret, and never echoes the\nsecret. They are the credentials you already use against the API — nothing new to request, and\nno browser login.\n\nA context is a name for an environment and the credentials to use there, kept together, so no\ncommand can reach production carrying development credentials. Mark one read-only and every\nstate-changing command through it is refused before anything is sent:\n\n```bash\nco3 context read-only prod\n```\n\nPass the values as flags instead and it asks nothing, which is how it works in a pipeline:\n\n```bash\nco3 context create ci --env prod --client-id <id> --client-secret-env CO3_PROD_SECRET\n```\n\n## Everything else\n\n`co3 --help` lists the command groups; `co3 <group> <command> --help` describes one, with the\nparameters the API declares and the examples it publishes. Tab completion for zsh, bash and\nfish comes from `co3 completion <shell>`.\n\nThe documentation is at **[docs.co3.tech/tools](https://docs.co3.tech/tools)**:\ncontexts and where your credentials rest, output formats, exit codes to branch on in a script,\nrelative date windows, pagination, request bodies, and a command reference by area. It also\ncovers connecting an AI client to our hosted MCP service, which reaches the same API with the\nsame credentials.\n\n`MANUAL.md` sits inside this package, beside the executable, for when you have the install and\nnot the browser.\n\nThe API itself, and how to obtain a client id and secret:\n**[docs.co3.tech](https://docs.co3.tech)**.\n\n## Other ways to install it\n\nHomebrew for macOS and Linux, Scoop for Windows, or a plain archive with published checksums.\nEvery route delivers the same executable —\n[all of them here](https://docs.co3.tech/tools/cli/install).\n\n## Licence\n\nApache-2.0. The executable carries other people's work as well: `LICENSE`, `NOTICE` and\n`THIRD-PARTY-NOTICES.md` travel inside this package.\n","readmeFilename":"README.md","keywords":["co3","cli","fleet","telematics","tachograph","assets","api","command-line"],"repository":{"type":"git","url":"git+https://github.com/CO3-Tech/co3-cli.git"},"author":{"name":"CO3"},"bugs":{"url":"https://github.com/CO3-Tech/co3-cli/issues"}}
