It exposes browser context and interaction tools over MCP while coordinating the local browser connection.\n\n## Requirements\n\n- Node.js 22.14 or newer\n- The [Agent Logger Chrome extension](https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/agent-logger/oagfiocjmlliogliloamdblcbkhbkmjb)\n- An MCP-compatible client\n\n## Configure\n\nUse the setup CLI for a version-pinned client configuration:\n\n```sh\nnpx -y @continuallabs/agent-logger@1.1.0 setup --client claude\n```\n\nOr configure the MCP server directly:\n\n```json\n{\n  \"mcpServers\": {\n    \"agent-logger\": {\n      \"command\": \"npx\",\n      \"args\": [\"-y\", \"@continuallabs/agent-logger-mcp@1.1.0\"]\n    }\n  }\n}\n```\n\nRestart the AI client after changing its MCP configuration. Open the Agent Logger side panel and follow its pairing prompt for the running project session.\n\n## Runtime configuration\n\nThe server binds browser transport listeners to loopback. These optional environment variables are supported:\n\n| Variable | Purpose |\n| --- | --- |\n| `AGENT_LOGGER_WS_PORT` | Fixed loopback WebSocket port; dynamic by default |\n| `AGENT_LOGGER_DEBUG` | Enables diagnostic logging when set to `true` |\n| `AGENT_LOGGER_LOG_LEVEL` | Selects the modular logger level |\n\nRuntime state is stored in OS-local temporary and user-data directories. Treat pairing/session material as sensitive and do not commit it or include it in support reports.\n\n## Security\n\nOnly pair the extension with an MCP process you started. Review requested browser actions before approving them, especially actions that type text, access page context, or interact with the clipboard or terminal.\n\nReport vulnerabilities privately according to the repository [security policy](https://github.com/addressanup/terminal_vision/security/policy).\n\n## Development\n\nFrom the repository root, install the workspace and run:\n\n```sh\nnpm test --prefix mcp-server\nnpm run test:coverage --prefix mcp-server\n```\n\nThe npm package contains only runtime files and this README.
