to ~7°C\n* Off.\n\nThe switch from a state to another can be automated within the official application, by creating a schedule.\n\nIn this plugin, every Heatzy device is a thermostat, with these values : \n\n* `Off` : Off\n* `Heat` : Confort\n* `Cool` : Eco\n* `Auto` : Turn on the automation created in the app\n\nIf you set the device from the Home app, `Off` will set the heater to off, `Heat` to Confort, `Cool` to Eco and `Auto` will activate the last automation program that you used.\nIf you set it from the Heatzy app, or from the hardware button, Confort will be displayed in the Home app as `Heat`, Eco as `Cool` and Prog as `Auto`. Any other state (Hors-Gel or Off) will be displayed as `Off`.\n\nFor the rest of the functionnalities of the thermostat in the Home app, everything is fake : a fake current temperature, target temperature and temperature unit, choosen in the config.json, is set by default, and will always stay the same. If you try to change the target temperature from the Home app, nothing will happened, as well as if you try to change the temperature unit from °C to °F.\n\n\n## Installation\n\nInstall or update this plugin using `npm i -g @cteq3132/homebridge-heatzy-pilote-as-thermostat`, or search for it in the plugins of [Homebridge UI](https://github.com/homebridge/homebridge-config-ui-x).\n\nThe easiest way to configure it is the plugin settings in Homebridge UI: sign in with your Heatzy account, click `Find my devices`, choose the devices to add and save. This also gets the local network passcode of your devices (see [Local mode](#local-mode)).\n\nYour Heatzy password is not saved: it is only sent to Heatzy servers to sign in, and the token they return is saved in the config (see [Heatzy token](#heatzy-token)).\n\nYou can also update the `config.json` file of your Homebridge setup, by modifying the sample configuration below.\n\n\n## Local mode\n\nThe plugin controls your devices directly on your local network, with the Gizwits LAN protocol used by Heatzy devices (TCP port 12416). It is faster than Heatzy servers, and keeps working when Heatzy servers or your internet connection are down.\n\nThis needs the local network passcode of each device, which can only be obtained from Heatzy servers. It is fetched once, by the setup UI or by the plugin at its first start, and saved in the Homebridge storage folder (`heatzy-pilote/<did>.json`). After that, Heatzy servers are only used as a fallback, when the device cannot be reached on the local network.\n\nThe IP address of the device is found automatically on your local network. You can also set it with the `ip` parameter (with a DHCP reservation on your router).\n\nTested with the Heatzy Pilote (`Pilote_Soc_C3`). Devices that do not support it are controlled through Heatzy servers, as before.\n\n\n## Heatzy token\n\nHeatzy servers give a token when you sign in. The plugin uses it instead of your password, which is never stored. It is valid until the date shown in the plugin settings and in the Homebridge log at startup, and cannot be renewed without your password: when it is about to expire, the plugin writes a warning in the Homebridge log. Open the plugin settings, sign in again and save.\n\nThe token is only needed to use Heatzy servers. Default is `Heatzy`.\n* `username` (optional) the email of your Heatzy account, to fill in the sign in form of the plugin settings.\n* `token` (required) and `token_expire_at` (optional, Unix time in seconds) are given by Heatzy servers when you sign in, see [Heatzy token](#heatzy-token). The plugin settings fill them in for you, or see below how to get them.\n* `devices` the list of your Heatzy devices, with for each one:\n  * `name` (required) is anything you'd like to use to identify this device. You can always change the name from within the Home app. Changing it here makes it a new accessory in HomeKit.\n  * `did` (required) is the parameter for your device. The setup UI finds it for you, or see below how to get it.\n  * `interval` (optional) is how often (in seconds) the plugin will ask the device (or Heatzy servers) its state, which is necessary when you change the state from outside of Homekit. Default is false.\n\n\n## Updating from version 1\n\nBefore version 2, each device was configured in the `accessories` section, with your Heatzy email and password. These devices keep working after the update, with a warning in the Homebridge log.\n\nTo migrate them, open the plugin settings in Homebridge UI, check your devices and click `Save`, then restart Homebridge: the devices move to the `platforms` section, and your password is removed from the config. They keep the same identifiers, so their rooms, scenes and automations are kept in HomeKit.\n\n\n## How to find the token and the Device ID `did` of your devices\n\nThe setup UI in Homebridge UI does this for you. Otherwise, in your terminal, enter the two commands below.\n\nFor the first one, you will have to replace USERNAME and PASSWORD by your credentials used in the Heatzy app.\nIn return, you should get a `token` and its expiry date `expire_at`: they are the `token` and `token_expire_at` parameters of the config. You will also use the token in the second command, to replace YOURTOKEN.\n\nThe second command will return many datas. For each Heatzy device, you must find this piece of information : `\"did\": \"011233455677899abbcd\"`.
