![Apache License][license-image]\n\nThe OpenCensus Prometheus Exporter allows the user to send collected stats with [OpenCensus Core](https://github.com/census-instrumentation/opencensus-core) to Prometheus.\n\nThis package is still at an early stage of development, and is subject to change.\n\n## Installation\n\nInstall OpenCensus Prometheus Exporter with:\n```bash\nnpm install @opencensus/core\nnpm install @opencensus/exporter-prometheus\n```\n\n## Usage\n\nCreate & register the exporter on your application.\n\nFor Javascript:\n```javascript\nconst { globalStats } = require('@opencensus/core');\nconst { PrometheusStatsExporter } = require('@opencensus/exporter-prometheus');\n\n// Add your port and startServer to the Prometheus options\nconst exporter = new PrometheusStatsExporter({\n port: 9464,\n startServer: true\n});\n```\n\nNow, register the exporter.\n\n```javascript\n// Pass the created exporter to Stats\nglobalStats.registerExporter(exporter);\n```\n\nSimilarly for TypeScript (Since the source is written in TypeScript):\n```typescript\nimport { PrometheusStatsExporter } from
