It is _not_ intended for use in production-grade software.**\n\nThis project was created and published by me as part of my learnings at Lighthouse Labs.\n\n## Usage\n\n**Install it:**\n\n`npm install @deniseb27/lotide`\n\n**Require it:**\n\n`const _ = require('@deniseb27/lotide');`\n\n**Call it:**\n\n`const results = _.tail([1, 2, 3]) // => [2, 3]`\n\n## Documentation\n\nThe following functions are currently implemented:\n\n- `head(array)`: Returns the first element of an array.\n- `tail(array)`: Returns a new array containing all elements except the first.\n- `middle(array)`: Returns the middle element(s) of an array.\n- `assertArraysEqual(arr1, arr2)`: Logs assertion results comparing two arrays.\n- `assertEqual(actual, expected)`: Logs assertion results comparing two values.\n- `assertObjectsEqual(obj1, obj2)`: Logs assertion results comparing two objects.\n- `countLetters(string)`: Returns an object counting the occurrences of each letter.\n- `countOnly(allItems, itemsToCount)`: Counts only specified items from an array.\n- `eqArrays(arr1, arr2)`: Returns true if two arrays are equal.\n- `eqObjects(obj1, obj2)`: Returns true if two objects are equal.\n- `findKey(object, callback)`: Returns the first key for which the callback returns true.\n- `findKeyByValue(object, value)`: Returns the first key which contains the given value.\n- `letterPositions(string)`: Returns an object showing all indices for each letter.\n- `takeUntil(array, callback)`: Returns a slice of the array until callback returns true.\n- `without(sourceArray, itemsToRemove)`: Returns a new array without the specified items.","readmeFilename":"README.md","_rev":"1-2a87204754e18fc1f173d5487276637d"}
