Abutly: the monthly searches, read from search (a month), served as an agent-callable dataset with its source and licence on every answer.\n\n**Abutly** publishes **monthly searches** at **[https://abutly.com/tools](https://abutly.com/tools)**. This package serves that dataset to any [Model Context Protocol](https://modelcontextprotocol.io) client — Claude, or any agent — so an assistant can answer questions from it and cite the source.\n\n## Install\n\n```bash\nnpx @ellul-estate/abutly-com-abutly-tools-mcp\n```\n\nOr add it to an MCP client config as a stdio server running `npx @ellul-estate/abutly-com-abutly-tools-mcp`.\n\n## Tools\n\n| tool | what it answers |\n|---|---|\n| `dataset_columns` | the schema: columns, which are numeric, row count, provenance |\n| `dataset_search` | rows matching a text query |\n| `dataset_row` | the row(s) where a column equals a value |\n| `dataset_compare` | rows side by side, for \"X vs Y\" |\n| `dataset_stats` | count, min, max, mean, median, sum of a numeric column |\n| `dataset_top` | the highest or lowest rows by a numeric column |\n| `dataset_provenance` | the source, computed date, licence and citation |\n\nThe full dataset is also offered as a CSV **resource**.\n\n## Data & citation\n\nSource: the figures you type, the method printed beside.
