With Pluxx, you keep one source project and compile honest host-native outputs.\n\nFor teams that want the shortest path from raw MCP to something usable, `pluxx autopilot` wraps import, refinement, and build/test flow into one command.\n\nThe current product focus is the OSS authoring substrate:\n\n- import\n- scaffold\n- refine\n- lint\n- doctor\n- eval\n- build\n- test\n- install\n- sync\n\nPluxx is built around an explicit compiler model:\n\n- `preserve` when a primitive maps cleanly to a host-native surface\n- `translate` when the same intent belongs in a different host surface\n- `degrade` when a host only supports a weaker equivalent\n- `drop` when the host has no truthful native equivalent\n\nThat keeps the cross-host story explicit instead of pretending every platform works the same way.\n\n## Platform Focus\n\nPluxx is currently centered on the core four:\n\n- Claude Code\n- Cursor\n- Codex\n- OpenCode\n\nOther targets still exist as generated secondary/beta outputs, but the product and docs are intentionally optimized around the core four. Gemini CLI is one of those beta generator targets today: it is fixture-tested, but it is not in the current release-smoked core-four installer lane.\n\nPluxx also provides an opt-in `agent-plugins` portable floor for a strict Agent Plugins 1.0.0 package (`plugin.json`, immediate-child Agent Skills, and optional representable `mcp.json`). Pure placeholder values in MCP stdio config stay runtime-inherited, so a globally installed plugin can be reused from different workspaces without baking one workspace's local config into Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, or OpenCode bundles.\n\nWorkspace `.env` files are parsed as dotenv text by the generated launcher. Bundled shell scripts must not `source` workspace env files; `lint`, `doctor`, `build`, and installed-bundle checks reject that pattern because shell sourcing can execute command substitutions from user-controlled env values.\n\nPlugins with expensive platform-native dependencies can opt into one content-addressed runtime shared by their generated core-four installers:\n\n```ts\nsharedRuntime: {\n  bootstrap: 'scripts/bootstrap-runtime.sh',\n  inputs: ['scripts/runtime-dependencies.lock.json'],\n  output: 'node_modules',\n}\n```\n\nThe bootstrap must be deterministic from the declared files plus the current OS, architecture, and Node ABI.
