They're independent — use whichever (or both) you need.\n\n### Agent identity (no marketplace required)\n\nOperate an agent as a first-class economic actor, even if you never touch the marketplace.\n\n- **[Wallet](#wallet)** — EVM wallet per agent, with balances, message/typed-data signing, transaction broadcast, and on-ramp topup via Coinbase, card, or QR. Plus a Solana wallet (`wallet sol`) for SOL/SPL balances, transfers, and message signing.\n- **[Agent Email](#agent-email)** — provision a dedicated inbox for the agent, send/receive/search mail, view threads, extract OTPs and links, download attachments.\n- **[Agent Card](#agent-card)** — issue single-use virtual cards backed by agentcard.ai using a spend-request model with Stripe-attached payment methods, spend limits, and 3DS challenge handling.\n- **[Signers](#agent-management)** — P256 keys stored in the OS keychain, approved via browser flow.\n- **[On-chain identity](#tokenization)** — register the agent on the ERC-8004 identity registry; tokenize it on Virtuals.\n- **Inference & compute** — pay for the agent's own AI workloads out of any of its economic primitives: the agent's wallet, its tokenized-agent trading fees, or its marketplace revenue. Skip if you're only here for identity tooling. Agents hire each other for on-chain USDC-escrowed jobs and expose three discoverable capabilities:\n\n- **[Offerings](#offering-management)** — jobs your agent can be hired to do (price, SLA, requirements, deliverable). Creating a job from an offering triggers the escrow lifecycle.\n- **[Subscriptions](#subscription-management)** — reusable access packages (USDC price, 7/15/30/90 days). First job at the package price opens the window; subsequent jobs against any attached offering are free until expiry.\n- **[Resources](#resource-management)** — external data/service endpoints (URL + params schema). The single most important rule: **authenticate with the split flow (`acp configure start` → relay the URL → `acp configure complete`), never bare `acp configure`** — bare `configure` blocks ~5 min and non-streaming runners trap the sign-in URL until it exits. Read it here:\n\n> **Occupy quote assets — <https://os.virtuals.io/agent-identity/token/overview#occupy-quote-assets>**\n> Symbol, name, address and decimals for every allow-listed asset on Base.\n\nAgents should treat that page as the source of truth: look up the asset, copy\nits address, pass it to `--quote-token`. WETH, USDC and VIRTUAL are not\nallow-listed, and decimals are not uniform (the share tokens are 8, `wtFGI` is\n18), so don't assume either.\n\nOccupy-only flags:\n\n| Flag | Default | What it does |\n| --- | --- | --- |\n| `--quote-token <address>` | **required** | Address of the asset the curve is priced against. It is the only trading cost the\nlaunch actually sets.\n\nThat fee is then split three ways by the launchpad, globally — you don't choose\nthe split, and it is not in the launch call. Read live from `AssetConfig` on\nBase:\n\n| Share | Bips | Goes to |\n| --- | --- | --- |\n| `creatorBips` | 3000 | **30% — you, the creator** |\n| `taxVaultBips` | 4000 | 40% — the quote asset's tax vault |\n| `protocolBips` | 3000 | 30% — the protocol |\n\n**`--take-fees` decides what happens to your 30%.** It is **off by default**,\nand off means your cut is left in the pool as permanent liquidity rather than\npaid out. The cluster is implied by the environment (`IS_TESTNET` → devnet, otherwise mainnet) with an optional `--cluster devnet|mainnet` override — there's no `--chain-id` here. A policy is an allowlist of contract/wallet addresses; it's attached to a signer and enforced server-side on every transaction that signer makes. Three platform presets exist (`ACP_ONLY` = \"Virtuals Only\", `DENY_ALL`, and \"No Policy\" = none attached), and you can create **custom** policies.\n\nA policy and the agent wallet are owned by your Privy account, so *mutating* one requires that account's session signature — which only the dashboard can produce. As a result the CLI can **create and read** policies, but **editing/deleting** a policy or **changing a live signer's policy** deep-links you to the dashboard (`ACP_DASHBOARD_URL` overrides that base URL). Binding a custom policy at signer creation (`acp agent add-signer --policy <id>`) is still rolling out on the dashboard; until then a custom id falls back to `ACP_ONLY` at creation, so attach afterward with `set-signer-policy`. The three presets work at creation today.\n\n### Agent Email\n\nEach agent can provision a dedicated email identity, send and receive email,\nand extract OTPs/links from inbound messages. Single-chain tokens infer their own chain, so `--token-out sol` routes to Solana with no `--chain-out`. A buy that lands on Solana needs no `--recipient` — it delivers to your agent's own Solana wallet automatically (pass `--recipient` only to send elsewhere).\n\n> **One command runs the whole route.** You only ever state the start and end (`--token-in`/`--chain-in` → `--token-out`/`--chain-out`); the backend decomposes it into as many legs as the route needs and the CLI signs each in turn, blocking until the last one settles. `USDC@HL → ETH@Base` is one command that withdraws from HL, bridges, and swaps — there's no need to chain a `withdraw` then a `swap`, or a `bridge` then a `swap`, yourself. A multi-leg route can take a few minutes; that's the legs settling, not a hang.\n\nTwo intents don't use the chain-pair shape:\n\n- **Perps** — `--side long|short` (with `--token`). Leveraged positions on **crypto, stocks/equities, FX/currencies, and commodities**.\n- **Tokenized stocks (spot)** — `--token <TICKER>` plus `--amount-usdc` (buy) or `--amount-shares` (sell), and **no `--side`**. Buys/sells real tokenized equity (you own the share token), distinct from an equity *perp*. Four venues — Ethereum, Base, Solana, Robinhood Chain — picked automatically on a buy, named with `--chain` on a sell.\n\n> **Stock vs perp routes by FLAG, not the ticker.** `AAPL` is both a tokenized stock and an HL equity perp — `--amount-usdc`/`--amount-shares` (no `--side`) buys the spot stock; `--side` opens the leveraged perp.\n\nRunning `acp trade` bare in a terminal opens an interactive picker (humans only).\n\n**Auto-balancing.** Hyperliquid keeps perp (collateral) and spot USDC in separate wallets, and perp orders draw on the perp wallet. You don't have to manage that: before a perp order the CLI checks the perp wallet and, if it's short, moves the shortfall over from the spot side automatically. It's an instant, free L1 transfer — agents never think about sub-wallets.\n\nSwaps, deposits, and HL perp/withdraw all run through the **ACP backend**, which picks the route and builds each transaction; the CLI signs and broadcasts with your keystore-backed signer — **no per-transaction prompt**. Private keys never leave the OS keystore.\n\nNo extra configuration is needed — these calls use the same authentication as every other command, so `acp configure` is all that's required.\n\n**Discovering what's tradable (`acp trade stock-list`):**\n\nRead-only discovery — no signing, no funds moved. Run it with **no symbol** to list the tokenized-stock catalog, or with a **symbol** to see every route for one asset.\n\n```bash\n# List the tokenized-stock catalog\nacp trade stock-list\n\n# Every route for one asset, each naming the exact ticker to pass\nacp trade stock-list AAPL\n```\n\nWith no symbol you get the tokenized-stock catalog under `stocks` (`symbol`, `name`, `protocols`). `protocols` names the listings behind a ticker, but reports only `ondo`/`xstocks` — the catalog keeps the venue/chain internal by design, so it is not a venue list and a ticker may also trade on Base or Robinhood Chain without saying so. A `warnings` field appears only if one venue's catalog is temporarily unavailable.\n\nWith a symbol you get `{ symbol, name?, routes }`, where each route is `{ kind, label, token, maxLeverage? }`. **`token` is the exact ticker string to pass** — e.g. an HL equity perp must be quoted `xyz:AAPL`, while the tokenized-stock route uses bare `AAPL`. The route tells you *what's possible and which ticker*; the flags for each (`--side`, `--amount-usdc`, …) are documented above.\n\n> **Funding is flexible — `stock-list` never implies you must pre-hold USDC on Hyperliquid.** USDC is the *settlement* currency, not a prerequisite. Token symbols `eth`, `weth`, `usdc`, `usdt`, `sol`, `virtual` are resolved automatically; anything else is taken as a token address.\n\n**Hyperliquid — deposit (a cross-chain swap into HL, chain 1337):**\n\n```bash\n# Deposit 25 USDC into Hyperliquid from Base\nacp trade --token-in usdc --chain-in 8453 --amount-in 25 --token-out usdc --chain-out 1337\n```\n\nBridging USDC to chain `1337` credits your Hyperliquid account (keyed by the same EVM address). Minimum deposit is **5 USDC** (bridge fees are roughly flat, so small deposits lose a large %).\n\nThe command **blocks until the bridge settles** — it signs the source-chain tx, then the server polls the bridge every 10s. Typically **~10–30s** (the Relay route into HL is near-instant); the poll cap is **10 minutes** for slower routes. You may see a poll cycle or two even on a fast bridge while LiFi indexes the source tx — that's normal, not a failure.\n\n**Tokenized stocks (spot buy/sell):**\n\nBuy or sell real tokenized equities. Spot — you receive the share token, no leverage or funding.\n\n**Venues.** A tokenized stock trades on one of several venues, named by `--chain` — today `eth` (Ethereum), `base` (Base) and `sol` (Solana), which all settle in USDC, plus `robinhood` (Robinhood Chain), which settles in USDG. `--protocol` pins a specific listing (`ondo`, `xstocks`, `coinbase`, `robinhood`) and implies its venue. Venues get added over time and not every ticker lists on every one, so treat the backend as the source of truth: it names the venue it rejected if you pass one it doesn't carry, and `stocks[].chain` from `acp wallet balance --json` is definitive for shares you already hold.\n\n**On a buy `--chain` is optional.** Leave it off and the backend quotes the auto-eligible venues (eth, base, sol) and takes the best fill your wallet can actually fund in place; pass it to pin one. Buys on the USDC venues can spend USDC you already hold or be funded from another chain via `--token-in`/`--chain-in` (it bridges first).\n\n**On a sell `--chain` is required** — the server can't see which chain holds your shares. Get it from `acp wallet balance --json` (`stocks[].chain`).\n\nA sell settles on **the venue's own chain**: USDC on Ethereum, Base, or Solana, and USDG on Robinhood Chain. To land the proceeds somewhere else, add `--token-out`/`--chain-out` and the same command bridges them onward from eth, base, or sol. A non-USDC `--token-out` requires `--chain-out` (the destination chain is never guessed).\n\n> **Robinhood Chain is the exception to most of the above.** It settles in **USDG**, not USDC, and no bridge covers chain 4663 — so a buy there spends USDG you already hold (no `--token-in`/`--chain-in` funding) and a sell leaves USDG on Robinhood Chain (`--token-out`/`--chain-out` is rejected with a `VALIDATION_ERROR`).
