Built by [0nORK](https://0nork.com).\n\n[![npm version](https://img.shields.io/npm/v/0nmcp-crewai.svg)](https://www.npmjs.com/package/0nmcp-crewai)\n[![License: MIT](https://img.shields.io/badge/License-MIT-yellow.svg)](https://opensource.org/licenses/MIT)\n\n## What it does\n\nWraps the per-crew CrewAI Enterprise REST API (`https://<crew>.crewai.com`) as a standard Model Context Protocol server. Any MCP client — Claude Code, Cursor, Windsurf, [0nMCP](https://0nmcp.com), etc. — can now kick off, monitor, and resume CrewAI crew runs as first-class tools.\n\n| Tool | Endpoint | Purpose |\n|---|---|---|\n| `crewai_kickoff` | `POST /kickoff` | Start a crew run with the given inputs |\n| `crewai_status` | `GET /status/{kickoff_id}` | Check progress of a running crew |\n| `crewai_get_inputs` | `GET /inputs` | List the inputs a crew expects |\n| `crewai_resume` | `POST /resume` | Resume a paused crew waiting on human input |\n\n## Free tier\n\nCrewAI Enterprise gives every account **50 crew runs/month** for free. This MCP server makes those 50 runs callable from anywhere AI runs — without writing CrewAI-specific code.\n\n## Install\n\n### Claude Desktop / Claude Code\n\nAdd to your MCP config:\n\n```json\n{\n  \"mcpServers\": {\n    \"crewai\": {\n      \"command\": \"npx\",\n      \"args\": [\"-y\", \"0nmcp-crewai\"],\n      \"env\": {\n        \"CREWAI_BEARER_TOKEN\": \"your_crewai_token\"\n      }\n    }\n  }\n}\n```\n\n### Cursor / Windsurf\n\nSame pattern — point at `npx -y 0nmcp-crewai` with `CREWAI_BEARER_TOKEN` in env.\n\n### 0nMCP / 0nCore\n\nConnect from `0ncore.com/dashboard/admin/mcp-registry` once this server is published to the official MCP registry. (Until then, use the CLI install above.)\n\n## Usage\n\n### Kick off a crew\n\n```jsonc\n// Tool call:\n{\n  \"name\": \"crewai_kickoff\",\n  \"arguments\": {\n    \"crew_name\": \"research-crew\",\n    \"inputs\": {\n      \"topic\": \"AI agent frameworks\",\n      \"depth\": \"deep\"\n    }\n  }\n}\n\n// Returns:\n{ \"kickoff_id\": \"abc123-...\" }\n```\n\n### Check status\n\n```jsonc\n{\n  \"name\": \"crewai_status\",\n  \"arguments\": {\n    \"crew_name\": \"research-crew\",\n    \"kickoff_id\": \"abc123-...\"\n  }\n}\n```\n\n### List a crew's inputs\n\n```jsonc\n{\n  \"name\": \"crewai_get_inputs\",\n  \"arguments\": { \"crew_name\": \"research-crew\" }\n}\n```\n\n### Resume a paused run\n\n```jsonc\n{\n  \"name\": \"crewai_resume\",\n  \"arguments\": {\n    \"crew_name\": \"research-crew\",\n    \"kickoff_id\": \"abc123-...\",\n    \"task_outputs\": { \"human_response\": \"approved\" }\n  }\n}\n```\n\n## Crew identification\n\nYou can identify a crew two ways:\n\n| Form | Example | Resolves to |\n|---|---|---|\n| `crew_name` | `\"research-crew\"` | `https://research-crew.crewai.com` |\n| `crew_url` | `\"https://research-crew.crewai.com\"` | (passed through verbatim) |\n\nA default can also be set globally with `CREWAI_DEFAULT_CREW_URL`.\n\n## Auth\n\n| Method | Where | Priority |\n|---|---|---|\n| Per-call | `bearer` argument on any tool | Highest |\n| Global env | `CREWAI_BEARER_TOKEN` | Fallback |\n\n## Why a separate MCP package vs. just a 0nMCP service?\n\nThis package implements the [Model Context Protocol](https://modelcontextprotocol.io) directly so it works in **any** MCP client — not just 0nMCP. If you only use 0nMCP, the CrewAI tools are also bundled into 0nMCP's first-party catalog (`crewai_*`) for zero-config use. This standalone package exists for the broader MCP ecosystem.\n\n## License\n\nMIT — © 2026 RocketOpp LLC.\n\n## Related\n\n- [0nMCP](https://www.npmjs.com/package/0nmcp) — Universal AI API Orchestrator (1,594 tools across 105 services)\n- [Model Context Protocol](https://modelcontextprotocol.io) — the protocol this server implements\n- [CrewAI](https://crewai.com) — the agent platform this wraps\n","readmeFilename":"README.md","_rev":"1-0fdeda0b47e317fa3d83deaec2dc7842"}
