Like react-hooks but without the react. \n\n## Installation\n\n```bash\n$ npm install --save 1way\n```\n\n## Documentation\n\n`1way` is a really simple library at this point. It was inspired by the way\nangular and react are binding JavaScript variables within HTML.\n\n### Why?\n\nBack in the days, angular got really popular for a feature called\n\"two-way-binding\" (I believe Backbone introduced it first). It allowed a web\ndeveloper to bind a dom element directly to a variable defined in JavaScript.\n\nImmediately, everybody got exited and used two-way-binding extensively. Until\nthey noticed that in large applications it's not that great.\n\nAlong came react and innovated on the binding part by introducing the Flux\narchitecture, which among other things, suggested a one way data flow.\n\nNow, it seems two way data flows are getting back in fashion.\n\n```svelte\n<script>\n  let name = 'world';\n</script>\n\n<h1>Hello {name}!</h1>\n<input type=\"text\" bind:value={name} />\n```\n(Run this code [here](https://svelte.dev/).)\n\nBut additionally, we're now inventing\n[languages](https://gist.github.com/Rich-Harris/0f910048478c2a6505d1c32185b61934),\nnot frameworks. It's great for moving standards forward. But since no winner\nseems to have emerged yet, it may be more effective simply sticking to HTML5.\nWhich is, after all, pretty neat too now!\n\n### Using `1way` in your app\n\nCheck out [index.html](index.html) for an example of how to\nuse `1way`.\n\n### Demo\n\nCheckout a demo [here](https://timdaub.github.io/1way/).\n\n## Changelog\n\n### 0.0.2\n\n- Implement `integrate` functionality\n\n### 0.0.1\n\n- Initial release\n\n## Resources:\n\n- [Regex and greediness](http://www.regular-expressions.info/repeat.html)\n- [Match stuff between parentheses](https://stackoverflow.com/a/6208415)\n- [Angular: Binding\n  syntax](https://angular.io/guide/template-syntax#binding-syntax-an-overview)\n- [Flux](https://facebook.github.io/flux/)\n- [What is Svelte](https://gist.github.com/Rich-Harris/0f910048478c2a6505d1c32185b61934)\n- [MDN: A background on modules](https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/JavaScript/Guide/Modules)\n","readmeFilename":"README.md"}
