Messenger 2.0 Features

What you can do:

  • Add new friends using their 8-digit unique code.
  • See read receipts instantly to know when your message was viewed.
  • Easily clear your local chat history (the last 5 messages are permanently saved in the database).
  • Attach images to your messages (Note: GIFs and videos are currently not supported).

1. Download the App File

Click the "Download Messenger" button in the sidebar to get the single HTML file that holds the entire Messenger application.

2. Locate the Download

Find the file named messenger-v2.html, usually in your Downloads folder.

3. Launch the Application

Double-click the file to open it in your web browser. That's it—the app is now running!

Important Messenger V2.0 Upgrade Notice

Messenger 2.0 introduces a revised messaging format in our database. While user contacts will be seamlessly transferred, existing text history from Messenger 1.0 will not be properly displayed in the new version.

This means users running Messenger 1.0 will be unable to communicate effectively with users on Messenger 2.0. For uninterrupted chat functionality, please ensure all your contacts also download and use the new 2.0 version.
