Then ask it to run the\n`login` tool once.\n\n## What It Does\n\nAether Wealth MCP gives AI assistants a safe tool layer over Aether Wealth:\n\n- Read and summarize your trading journal\n- Create/list accounts and performance stats\n- Create, update, and close trade records\n- Delete trade records only from demo accounts\n- Create and manage price, trendline, and indicator alerts\n- Fetch candles, economic calendar events, macro series, FX macro context, and\n  market config\n- Render chart images\n- Compute technical indicators such as RSI, MACD, EMA, Bollinger Bands, ATR,\n  ADX, Supertrend, and more\n- Propose broker trade intents; email/app modes require a user-provided code,\n  automatic mode does not require a per-trade code, and push mode requires the\n  user to tap Approve in the app\n\nAether Wealth broker execution is intent-based: the assistant can propose, but\nthe backend enforces the connection's approval mode before any order is placed.\n\n## Authentication\n\nThe `login` tool opens the Aether Wealth OAuth flow in your browser. After you\napprove access, the MCP stores a local token in the operating-system keychain\nwhere available, with a protected file fallback.\n\nNo shared API key is configured in your MCP client. All data tools require\nOAuth sign-in, including market-data tools. `logout` clears the local\ncredential for this device.\n\n### Hosted (Remote) Mode\n\nOperators can deploy this server as a shared remote MCP endpoint instead of a\nlocal process. Set `MCP_TRANSPORT=http`, `MCP_HTTP_AUTH=oauth`, and\n`MCP_PUBLIC_ORIGIN=https://<your-host>`. In this mode:\n\n- The Aether-hosted endpoint is `https://mcp.aetherwealth.ai`; `/mcp` remains\n  available as a legacy connector alias.\n- Each request must carry the caller's own OAuth access token\n  (`Authorization: Bearer ...`); MCP clients obtain it via the standard MCP\n  auth flow, discovered from `/.well-known/oauth-protected-resource`.\n- The `login`/`logout` tools are not registered — the MCP client owns the\n  OAuth flow, and nothing is stored server-side (no keychain, no sessions).\n- Requests are rate limited per caller (per token, else per client IP;\n  `MCP_RATE_LIMIT_MAX` requests/minute, default 120) — over-limit calls get\n  `429` with a `Retry-After` header.
