    <h2>About IbGib</h2>
    <p>

        The ibgib protocol is the culmination of a lifetime of work. Over the
        past 20+ years, I have been working on a distributed computation
        algorithm. The driving use case was originally to maximize the learning
        process, with the goal of combining a SuperMemo-esque approach to
        reinforcement with a dynamic, maximizing UI. But early on I came upon a
        plugin architecture where I wanted the plugin architecture itself to be
        pluggable.

    </p>

    <p>

        This was one of the seemingly intractable problems that have driven me
        to shave the yak until now finally I have come to ibgib's current
        implementation.

    <h2>About Me, William Raiford</h2>
    <p>

        I live in San Antonio, TX, with my wife of 26 years, two dogs, three +
        two cats, two chickens, and numerous plants and trees. After burning out
        over a decade ago while programming 16+ hours a day as both an Air Force
        contractor and ibgib developer, I have been unable to do anything for
        monetary gain other than focus on ibgib.

        I was a math prodigy as a child. I...
    <ul>
        <li>was offered to skip grades (I declined),</li>
        <li>got an 800 Math SAT and 36 Math ACT,</li>
        <li>was president of Mu Alpha Theta club,</li>
        <li>placed 5th individually in the state's Mu Alpha Theta math competition,</li>
        <li>placed 1st in the team event with an exceptional team, with our school beating the likes of the Oak Ridge
            and other state magnet schools,</li>
        <li>did literally zero homework,</li>
        <li>and consequently was a terrible student (and president for that matter).</li>
    </ul>

    <p>

        This in no small part stemmed from my realization in 8th grade that once
        I made a single mistake in any statement, that there was a non-zero
        probability of <b>any statement made</b> of being in error. <b>This
            includes ALL mathematical axioms and theorems (proofs' individual
            statements).</b> This was a life-altering conundrum. "True" and "False",
        the two constructs upon which today's digital world is founded, were,
        are, and always will be inherently insufficient.

    </p>

    <p>

        Once this realization was made, I turned to meta...I had to both
        intrinsically learn the things they shoved at me in school, while
        extrinsically figuring out what the process of "learning" was. And I had
        to do it in a way that was internally consistent to my high standard of
        logic. It has been my life's journey in figuring out this "life of
        meaning" that has wrought the ibgib protocol: the protocol built on the
        <b>process of Living Logic and Belief</b> as opposed to what is
        conventionally thought of as "knowledge".
