2.x\n\n2.x shipped `dist/angular.easypiechart.js`. It is **not** part of 3.x, because\nAngularJS 1.x has been end-of-life since January 2022 and this package will not\nadvertise support for an unpatched framework.\n\nThe core is framework-agnostic, so the directive is a few lines in your own\ncode. If you would rather not migrate at all, `2.1.7` stays on npm\nindefinitely — `easy-pie-chart@2.1.7/dist/angular.easypiechart.js` resolves on\nunpkg and jsDelivr as it always has.\n\n### Options via `data-*` attributes\n\nEvery option except the callbacks can be set on the element. Callbacks and `barColor` still\nreceive your raw value, so labels need no conversion:\n\n```js\nnew EasyPieChart(el, {\n  max: 250,\n  onStep(from, to, value) {\n    this.el.querySelector('.label').textContent = `${Math.round(value)} / 250`;\n  },\n}).update(125); // half a ring\n```\n\n### Gauges\n\n`arcLength` limits the sweep; combine it with `rotate` to place the opening.\nA semi-circular gauge is 180 degrees rotated a quarter turn back:\n\n```js\nnew EasyPieChart(el, { arcLength: 180, rotate: -90, lineWidth: 10 });\n```\n\n### Responsive charts\n\nWith `responsive: true` the chart follows the host element's size via\n`ResizeObserver`. The host must take its size from CSS or its parent — if it\nis sized by its content, it and the canvas would size each other:\n\n```css\n.chart { width: 100%; aspect-ratio: 1; }\n```\n\n```js\nnew EasyPieChart(document.querySelector('.chart'), { responsive: true });\n```\n\nFunction options (`barColor`, `easing`, `onStart`, `onStep`, `onStop`) are bound\nto the chart instance, so `this.el` inside them is the host element. Arrow\nfunctions keep their own `this`, as usual.\n\n## Gradients\n\n`barColor` receives the current value and returns any valid canvas stroke\nstyle — including a gradient built from the renderer's own context:\n\n```js\nconst chart = new EasyPieChart(el, {\n  barColor() {\n    const ctx = this.renderer.getCtx();\n    const { size } = this.options;\n    const gradient = ctx.createLinearGradient(0, 0, size, 0);\n    gradient.addColorStop(0, '#22c55e');\n    gradient.addColorStop(1, '#0ea5e9');\n    return gradient;\n  },\n});\n```\n\nThe canvas is translated so `0,0` is its centre and rotated so 0% starts at 12\no'clock — take that into account when positioning gradient stops. Use\n`this.renderer.getCanvas()` if you need the element itself.\n\n## API\n\n| Method | Description |\n| --- | --- |\n| `update(value)` | Animate (or jump) to a new value. Non-numeric values are ignored. |\n| `setOptions(options)` | Apply new options and redraw at the current value. |\n| `stop()` | Stop a running animation at the current frame. |\n| `enableAnimation()` / `disableAnimation()` | Toggle animated updates. |\n| `destroy()` | Cancel animations and remove the canvas. |\n| `value` | Getter for the current value. |\n| `options` | The resolved options object. |\n| `renderer` | The active renderer. `getCtx()` / `getCanvas()` on the canvas renderer. |\n| `el` | The host element. |\n\nAll methods except `destroy()` and `value` return the instance for chaining.\n\n## Examples\n\nRun `npm run build`, then open `examples/index.html` in a browser.\n\n## Migrating from 2.x\n\n- Distributed as ESM (`dist/easypiechart.mjs`), CommonJS (`dist/easypiechart.cjs`)\n  and a minified UMD bundle for script tags (`dist/easypiechart.min.js`). The\n  UMD global is still `EasyPieChart`. TypeScript types are correct under\n  `node16`, `nodenext` and `bundler` resolution.\n- The AngularJS 1.x directive was removed — AngularJS has been end-of-life\n  since January 2022. See [AngularJS — migrating from 2.x](#angularjs--migrating-from-2x)\n  for a drop-in replacement directive, or stay on `2.1.7`.\n- Bower and Meteor packaging were removed. Install from npm.\n- The `easing` signature is now `(t, b, c, d)`.
