Cathedral

The film is based on a short story by Jacek Dukaj under the same title. In 2002 "Cathedral" was awarded the main prize at SIGGRAPH festival. A year later it received an Oscar nomination in the category "Best Animated Short Film".

Synopsis: Story of a pilgrim who comes to the Cathedral on the border of the known world. He wants to find answers. He finds tranquility.

Big Buck Bunny

As a follow-up to the successful project Orange's "Elephants Dream", the Blender Foundation initiated another open movie project. Again a small team (7) of the best 3D artists and developers in the Blender community have been invited to come together to work in Amsterdam from October 2007 until April 2008 on completing a short 3D animation movie.

UNICEF Enterprise

This animation is for the U.S. Fund for UNICEF's new philanthropic engagement called UNICEF Enterprise, and is designed to make philanthropy easy, efficient, and rewarding.

Sintel

"Sintel" is an independently produced short film, initiated by the Blender Foundation as a means to further improve and validate the free/open source 3D creation suite Blender.

This 15 minute film has been realized in the studio of the Amsterdam Blender Institute. In addition to that, several crucial technical and creative targets have been realized online.

However, only a small portion of Earth's water is accessible for our needs. How much fresh water exists and where it is stored affects us all.
