is a node addon that makes it possible for the user to stop the execution of a V8 instance without kill the current loop.<br/>\r\nTimeouts are managed by creating a parallel event loop who's sole objective is to manage the timer.<br/>\r\nWhen a program is bottlenecked by the CPU, you may want to kill this event and that is the reason why we throw a nice CPU bound Exception on timeout.\r\n\r\nInstallation\r\n------------\r\n``` \r\nnpm install halt\r\n```\r\n\r\nCompatibility\r\n------\r\nFrom node 0.12 - node 9 included<br/>\r\niojs 3\r\n\r\nTimer\r\n-------\r\nWhen an engine is busy, a program needs more time to end but consumes the same amount of cpu ticks.<br/>\r\nIn this case we would like to give more time to this program to end his execution while he doesn't consume too many cpu ticks.<br/>\r\nThat's why the timer will be restarted until the maximum amount of cpu ticks is reached or the program ends his execution.<br/>\r\nThis maximum is determined by the value send to halt.start/run() and the cpu ticks per millisecond which is configurable and has 1000 as default value.\r\n\r\nUsage\r\n-----\r\nYou can either kill the javascript executing thread by \r\n* starting a timer on a function with halt.run()\r\n* manually calling start, protect and clear on the halt module\r\n```javascript\r\nvar halt = require('halt')\r\nhalt.ticksPerMsec =
