Help Library Manager supports downloading updated content from the MSDN Online library and installing it locally for viewing when you are offline. Using HLM you can check to see if any of your local content has updates available. You can also download the updated content for offline viewing. Note: This version does not support getting updated content from sources that do not have content available on MSDN Online. Because content can be shared across products, you cannot get updates for a subset of the Microsoft documentation you have installed locally. All available updates to your local content will be downloaded and installed. For additional information, see the Overview of Help Library Manager. Using this feature requires an Internet connection. Use the following instructions to find and install updates for your offline help content. Launch Help Library Manager from the "Help" menu in your software application. Click "Help" > "Manage Help settings". Click "Check for updates". The next screen shows content you have installed locally. HLM will check for updates and display the update status for your local help content. This might take a few moments. The status area at the bottom of the screen shows the total size of the updates. Click the "Update" button at the bottom of the screen to download and install the updates. HLM will install the content and periodically report on its progress.
