This server is the one component that sees the whole paid call — the 402 quote, the payment it signed, the settlement receipt, and the response — so it keeps the reading.\n\n**Meter.** Every paid call appends one JSON line to `~/.orcpin/meter.jsonl`: the quoted price, the amount actually signed, the on-chain receipt, and the delivery outcome (status, latency, whether the body was valid JSON). Patterns are named in `attention`; no verdict is given. A URL that is not a valid x402 door is refused with the free probe and nothing is charged. The tool verifies the document on return and points to `https://orcpin.dev/audit`, where the JSON renders as the full readable report and is verified again in the browser.\n\n**Statement (paid by window: ~$5 up to a month, ~$10 up to a quarter, ~$30 up to a year).** The `orcpin_statement` tool asks Orcpin for a signed statement of account for this wallet: every settlement it made in the window, read independently from the public chain, block-anchored and ed25519-signed so anyone can verify it without Orcpin. The tool attaches this meter's figures as *representations* — attested as reported, by digest, and kept apart from the chain facts Orcpin verified itself, the way an auditor separates evidence from management's own numbers. Each payee is resolved to its seller and listed resources from the public catalog, with the prices this wallet actually paid marked and Orcpin's own measurements of each endpoint attached where they exist. Orcpin keeps only the statement's hash, key id and time in a public transparency log — nothing identifying.\n\nThe tool verifies what comes back **on your machine**: the ed25519 signature, the signing key's status in Orcpin's public key registry (active / retired / revoked), and the statement's presence in the transparency log.
