\n\n## Data location\n\nThe toolset stores its runtime data - usage history (`turns.db`), preferences (`config.json`), saved SSH connections (`ssh.json`), the live codex (`aftc-codex/`), sub-agent config and agents (`subagents-config.json`, `subagents/`), the debug log (`debug.log`) and the report web app (`usage-report/` with its generated `data.json`) - in a per-user folder **outside** the installed package, so it survives `pi update`.
